I saw in a Time article last year that the US only gets 11% of the oil from the middle east. The remaing 45 or so percent are from the remaining foreign oil places.

I'll read about the state of the union address tomorrow...

As for alternative fuels, hydrogen is showing promise and there are a minority who have modified diesel engines like Zem said

Well, duh! Thatīs the first thing I thought of when I read that "addicted to foreign oil" part.

"The remaing 45 or so percent are from the remaining foreign oil places."

Iīve heard something about Bush trying to get oil from antarctica. But I donīt know if that went through, though.

People have talked about cars running on Methenalhol here. It's apparently actually cheaper than gas by little.

Mind you, the average gas price is kind of close to two dollars... per liter.

From what I remember, the gas prices increased because of a certain war.

I might be wrong, though.

Considering I've got gigs of my hard drive dedicated to it. I think I have the most for Aikawa though.

Clapping with one hand = silence....
Unless you're Kyouji, that is. Which is equally hilarious.

I think 15% of my iPod space so far is filled up with J-POP and various other Japanese songs. Like Ayumi Hamasaki dance mixes.

Nothing beats going to school on the bus and listening to Owarinai Yume.
