Oh man, I had crocodile dentist. That game ruled. The trick is to feel each tooth, as the ones the spring is currently attached to are more tense than the others so that can help you narrow it down.

Ah, Crocodile Dentist. I think Iīve played that game.

There we have it. I think that game was about pulling his teeth before he closed his mouth. One tooth probably makes it close instantly.

As for our christmas tree, I donīt know if itīs out yet.

Actually you pushed down on teeth. One random tooth, when pushed down, causes the alligator's jaws to snap shut. If it snaps shut on you, you lose.

Really, my question is how does it work... Obviously they all have springs, but the way it randomly sets one of two confuses me.

I see what you mean.

Maybe someone could take one apart and see how it looks inside. But I doubt anyone would do that since they probably care about the game.

The fact that Wikipedia doesn't even have an article up on it makes me think that this is one of life's greatest mysteries. Even bigger than figuring out how they put the caramel inside a Caramilk bar.

It was 3, we all know that. Owls never lie.

Although to be fair, I must not be doing it right since I suck on Tootsie Pops. I tried to just lick it once and totally lost track. There must be some secret technique...

It should depend on the acidity of the saliva on your tongue, the duration of each lick, etc...

It took me a good 1,000+ licks.

Your poor tongue must have been raw after all that licking.

I think I lost count at 40 or 50. No patience obviously.

what you need is one of those hand counter thingies...then all you have to do is remember to press the button to increment the counter when you lick

Well... I had a friend that knew the average of licks it took over the world's population that tried it. How he found out and why is still a mystery.

I'm not THAT easily amused. Remember, licking is life consuming.
