I remember tinkering aroudn with my modem settings and I remember windows allowing me to set up max baud rate of 115200bps... So, maybe it is possible, but the FCC has something to do with limiting the rate of transfer...at least here in the US anyways...

I think thatīs what the baud of our modem is at. We didnīt do anything for it to become like that, though.

I wish our modem couldīve done that but it isnīt necessary anymore since weīll get broadband very soon.

Seriously, a 24.0kbps connect with accelerator just doesn't cut it.

We used an accelerator for some time but we didnīt notice any changes in the download speed.

The modem was as good as without that accelerator.

Who changed the title to Red Top Hats are Rad? I was going to reply to the teeth one but now I have to change the subject.

I donīt have any Top Hats and I donīt plan to get any in the near future. I bet Zem wants a Red glitter Top Hat.

There's still is 24 kbps connection people?

I mean... my first connection was 56K, and always been until I got broadband.
