We could always make a new rule for the board which forbids embedding any kind of music in a post unless there's valid reason for it (such as someone wanting to show off a new midi that they made in a clearly-marked thread).

I hate it too. Especiall when I´m on 56k because it takes forever to load the page.

I used to use AOL, then I used IE, then we switched to FF (lololol), my computer exploded, and for some reason, my parents chose to go back to IE.
I highly prefer lololol though!

I don't see music being useful to staff as it would be for regular members. Just forbid any profile music.

Besides, I can´t be online all day on a 56k.
I went back and forth between broadband at work and 56k at home for quite awhile. YD is right here. There's no need to complain so much. And why would you WANT to be on the board all day? Surely you have other things to do.

You'll definitely be complaining if you want to download and surf at the same time on a 56k, though. :\ Nearly impossible unless you have wicked amounts of patience.
