I don't really care for iPods either, but that's only because I don't really like music in general... I wouldn't have much use for any music-playback device.

...That's surprising because I thought EVERYONE liked some form of music. Rock, rap, instrumental, whatever.

I can see someone being anti-iPod if they favor a different MP3 player... I can't see someone being totally anti-player though.

there is a reason behind every dislike but for some people here, I guess it is quite subtle...

for me, I have an iPod because I have a need for it. I commute like mad so I need something that passes the time. For others, they really don't need it but still have one anyways.

I'm not ANTI-iPod, you won't see me going around with picket signs saying "ZOMG BAN IPOD ".

And I don't really know why I don't like any form of music... I just find them all to be irritating except for some orchestral pieces (I probably spelled orchestral wrong...). And I definatly DON'T bash any form of music. People can listen to whatever they want to around me, I just ignore it.

Neo: Meh... unless the person only has a couple of cds, I don't know how an ipod would be unneeded. It makes listening to all genres music easy and convenient, and it's much more sleek than a cd player. If someone doesn't mind spending the money for it, I don't see how it could "not be needed."

...What new online stuff? There's some news this morning about the new Pokemon probably being online for the DS, and I just got my DS/Mario Kart this morning, but aside from that... :\

(Seriously. Ordered Wednesday night, it's here Friday morning. That's messed up. )

My mom ordered something a little before christmas--it got here in a day an a half maybe it has to do with ordering before 2:00PM PST (5:00 EST)? You cut off one day of waiting if you order before that time...

No, I ordered at around 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific I think... Estimated shipping time was January 2nd or 3rd.

My DS has a dead (stuck at neon green, to be precise) pixel. It's more in the corner of the screen so it's not that noticeable, but still.

If you want, you CAN get them to ship you a new one with a box to put the old one in and send it back (and if you don't send it back, they'll charge you).

But anyway, if it's in the corner it's likely not worth worrying about. And what's so bad about getting something earlier than you expected it?

Getting something earlier just seems weird, that's all.

Yeah, but then I have to go through all that hassle. :\ Oh well. Warranty lasts for a while so I won't rush with that, and at least it's not that noticeable in a bright title like Mario Kart.

Hmm, my cousin said that they were of bad quality but I canīt really judge the I-pods since I havenīt tried one.

Well, Iīm back from my little vacation. Will be fun to celebrate New Year's Eve on the board, at least. All of my friends are either going to celebrate alone or going somewhere else.

Btw, Iīve gotten Guardian Legend and will try it tomorrow. The NES isnīt hooked up at the moment.

As for Nintendos Online stuff. Has someone even seen PICTURES from Pokemon Pearl and Diamond? Or are you talking baout those new dungeon games?

Mario Kart DS was fairly easy to beat. If you had the right car, that is.
