Celeron 300 (still in use elsewhere in the house) beats it by far.

Celeron 300 running XP, mind you. XD (I was smart enough to load lololol on it at least.)

Eh. It's just. I won't get a full scope of the awesome until I get everything set up how I want it later tonight. I've never really had a laptop before so I don't really know how to feel.

Well, I guess there's freedom... lie in bed and use the PC, sit down and use it, watch TV and use it, go outside and use it... you're unbound.

... And so, I've finally gotten the laptop more or less how I want it.

Emphasis on finally. And I still need to download just a few more programs...

But...

Meh.

Funky.

Otherwise.. gotta wait until the 25th. I asked for this plug to get my NES to work.
So creative. ^_____^

Is it 9only me or does everyone except you and me open their presents earlier than they should?

"I'd probably almost kill for it if it had a decent vid card (which I bet it doesn't).

Beats a 1.0GHz Shitpaq."

Haha! And Iīll upgrade my computer the next summer. Have a 9800 PRO on it.

Btw, why does almost everyone on the board use computer from the freakin' stone age?

Because we're all too lazy to get something better, and already have the programs we want on our older computers anyway and are hesitant to make an action we think will cause us to have to get them all again.

See, that entire line of reasoning kinda relies on my knowing you have your own apartment.

SINCE WHEN DID WE SKIP AHEAD 6 MONTHS?!?

But in reality... its really kinda hard to get hired for a decent wage when you're only 15 (OMG 16 in leik, 17ish dayz)

Either way, unless my computer... spontaneously combusts... explodes... or has a nuclear meltdown in the next 2 years, theres really no REASON to get a new one

This is why every computer is built with a button.

Push it.

Christmas presents are supposed to be opened on Christmas (in my mind) UNLESS the person can only give you the gift before/after Christmas or it's a gift that needs to be bought/selected by the giftee. (For example, new computer 2 Christmas' ago.)

There is a such switch on every computer. It's for switching voltage.

It smells lovely, I tell you.

(seen it happen two times, once in elementary school and the second time in High school...)

Never seen it done but then again said switch usually isn't that obvious.

(Wonder if any manufacturer was ever stupid enough to put that switch on FRONT of a PC.)

I only get christmas presents from the family. Like, from my sister and brothers and my parents.

"There is a such switch on every computer. It's for switching voltage.

They did that at my old school but I wasnīt there at the moment.
