Eh, I suppose I can attempt to do that when I use spoiler tags. I don't really use them that often as it is. But I suppose this is as good as place as any to test it.

Spoiler:
I want these motherfucking snakes off this motherfucking plane!

If you think board activity has been bad in general, check out the Story Forum. Kirb, Grey, and I have all been feeling not so much in a story-forum mood the past few weeks, and, well, you see what the result is.

I think that has to be the best thing put into a spoiler tag ever.

But why is the text below the spoiler tag red when you view the post from newreply.php?

Well, lets look at the source code.

<td class='tbl tdbg2 font' valign=top>Eh, I suppose I can attempt to do that when I use spoiler tags. I don't really use them that often as it is. But I suppose this is as good as place as any to test it.
<br>
<br></font><div style=color:black;background:black class=fonts><font color=white><b>Spoiler:</b></font><br>I want these motherfucking snakes off this motherfucking plane!</div><font color=red>
<br>
<br>If you think board activity has been bad in general, check out the Story Forum. Kirb, Grey, and I have all been feeling not so much in a story-forum mood the past few weeks, and, well, you see what the result is.<tr>

...

So I think what it is is that Sky put the <font color=red> directly after his spoiler, rather than closing the <font color=white> before the spoiler. Resulting in said phenomina.

The text in my posts is supposed to be red, in my layout. If I just use a spoiler tag and put </font> in front of it, to avoid the text inside being red (or whatever...I'm not sure exactly what the problem is), then I need to make the text red again manually for it to be red later...perhaps I'm misunderstanding the problem and/or solution.

There isn't a problem with your posts. It just makes your text red in newreply.php.

Like, this will be yellow in newreply.php, since the HTML code is directly inside the post, rather than the header/footer.

Yes, I know, I understand that. My point was that some people have said before that the spoiler tag doesn't actually work with my posts, and have suggested it is because I make my font red via my header. However, as I have not had this problem, I'm not completely aware of what the issue is, or how it might be solved.

Sure, blame the activity on the Story Forum.

There are times like this when we need certain people back just to do a quick spree and have everyone jump on board.

No, no, the SF decline isn't the cause of the drop in the activity. My point is merely that it's even WORSE there than on the rest of the board.

Well, as far as post count goes that still hurts. (Not saying the SF is 50% of the board's activity but if you guys are in a really creative mood, it helps.)

Wargh.

I can't.

I just can't post.

I finished my homework

I finished my adventures in KoL

I wrote a comic (last night)

I designed an entire level

But... I can't... I have nothing to do, and I can't seem to post.

You're hardly one to talk what with your activity after posting that.

I do agree with your later sentiment, that reading books for pleasure is a lot less enjoyable when you have to do a lot of reading for homework.

You dont have to close the tag before the spoiler tag. Just put </font> at the start of your footer. It worked when I tested it. I don't know how closing a tag properly (ahem ) fixes this, but it seems that it does.

I, erm...wow. I could've sworn there was a </font> tag as the very first thing in my footer. Guess not. Anyway, let me know if there's a problem with it now.

I think that my layout might have the same problem. I see no problem with yours now, Sky. I think IÂīll try my spoiler tag too.

Then download a good RPG and start playing, Ailure.

Super Mario RPG IS a good game. I didnīt really like it that much in the beginning either but now Iīve beaten it.
