The only negative side about the game is that it had only one extra boss. On the first, there were like, four.

Well, on the plus side, now I don't have to say that...

Which brings the next statement. It's better than just leaving half of the other worlds with no point to it. After the events, all you CAN do is go back for items at those other worlds. Linear, but fun.

I'm trying to find out how to get the damn Paradox cups unlocked. I beat the first, but nothing happened.

GameFAQs has the criteria for unlocking the different cups. I actually went the whole game without using the FAQs, but now in the end stages I decided that if I want to do everything I kind of need to do so.

Underdrome Extreme Games
---------------------------------
Pain & Panic (Level 60)
Condition for unlocking: Clear all Underworld Arena Cups

Cerberus Cup (Level 70)
Condition for unlocking: With the exception of Final Form, Form levels
should be at level 5 or higher. Also, Concealed Pain & Panic must be
unlocked.

Titan Cup (Level 80)
Condition for unlocking: Summon level should be 5 or higher. Concealed
Pain & Panic must be unlocked.

Hades Cup (Level 99)
Condition for unlocking: Clear all previous Cups in this Concealed set,
clear Space Paranoids episode 2, have max Form Levels, and Summon level
should be at level 7.

So basically, just keep levelling stuff up and you'll get it eventually.

So let me get this straight. You have to level up to level 99 if you want to do the Hades Cup? Or am I missing something there?

No, no, that's the recommended level for tackling the cup. You can likely do it just fine at a much lower level.

Yeah, I remember her too. Where did she go, anyway?

Would be great if she returned if only for a while.

She disappeared into the oblivion. I was in some slight contact with her, but then fell off completely. One should assume that, like Dani, if she wanted to be contacted, she would allow herself to be, so we must assume that she doesn't want to be.

Sometimes that kind of stuff does indeed happen. I was bored a week or so ago and googled my own AIM name. I got a few results of some chatlogs people had posted that I had been in, and one of them was for the boards where I was before I initially came here 4 years go, in a thread about a member there who I had kept in some contact with. Turns out she killed herself last October. I hadn't been in contact with her all that often, but that was probably the longest since I had heard from her, and that explained why. I really can't say I knew her all that well, but still, it hits kinda hard.

By searching around for posts on said message board, perhaps? You know, people usually do write suicide notes.

... Yeah, to their families... Why would you write something like that to randoms over the internet?

Because they have no one else to turn to? Or maybe because they feel as if they're closer to users on the internet rather than their families? I've seen it happen several times. In fact, I even was present at the time of someone saving another internet user from commiting suicide by calling the police (they even went as far as to recover information), even though said person hardly knew the suicidal user.

But in the cases that they do follow through...the guy I was describing drank a bunch of ether on webcam. Although people were mad or joking about it at first, their mood changed when they found out he actually did it. Some jokes continued, most of them being witty (one in particular was a joke about him having his MP restored), but for the most part, it was serious. We even formed a chat to help dig up information.

Well, a couple people on the boards were in some closer contact with her and some of her family, which is how they found out, and one of them felt it necessary to post it on the boards. How I found it was that in the spirit of some happy memories, a few people posted some chat logs of memorable AIM chats she had been part of...and I was in some of them, hence my AIM name being googled finding that.

Eh, alright. It just sounds rather ridiculous, though... Being that attached to people on the internet.

I mean, don't get me wrong, you guys are a nice bunch, but I don't think you'd be the people I'd first call if I killed myself.

Which I won't.
