Well, she could always get a gun-shaped vibrator. I mean, they have hello kitty ones, so why not?

That's really where I was going with it, actually. But I digress; I can't imagine it being funny.

...Why can't you just put aside $10 of your paycheck each week for a few months and then get the DS in the summer? :\ I mean, at least then you can say it's yours and you worked to get it.

And there's this little thing looming in my future called... what was it... oh right. College.
If I'm going to put away $10 every week, it's certainly not going to be for a DS.

Explain to me how I'm lazy.

I think it had something to do with not taking a second job. But maybe it was a fifth job.

She could always sell a part of her soul to get a DS.

I hear those things fetch quite a bit at ebay.

This comes to mind when I hear talk of selling souls.

I got mine a month earlier than the European release date, by just preordering from Bergsala (Nintendo of Sweden... in a way).

Kind of expensive true, but it was worth it... even if it was really dry on games.

Then ask for more hours at work so you can get a DS, Danielle.

Kyouji, it could be worse. We could all be in Japan, where the DS just flies off the shelves and it's nearly impossible to find one not being sold for $250 (i.e., second hand).

I always wondered why such people don't buy it for drastically less off of ebay. It's not like DSes are region protected or anything, and it 's absurdly easy to nagivate those menus even without being able to read the text

We return to people being lazy!
Plus, time for shipping brings in impatience.

I got my DS on Christmas I think... I forget really.

Do I have an AcmlmWiki article? I haven't made one for myself, let alone go there.

I have an AcmlmWiki article, but the last time I checked, it was rather...weak. Although to be honest, I expected no more than what's there at the moment. I always seem to get stuck as "the user who is really active but is never really noticed" on message boards.

You're mentioned once in it, but that's about it I plan on adding something for myself in eventually, but not quite yet

As for where everyone got their DS, I bought mine from Wal-Mart, with some of the money left to us by one of our uncles in his will. I've spent all of that now though. It's amazing how quickly $1800 can vanish

Then, I only found out recently that our grandpa left, to his grandkids, something like 10 percent of his estate. I figured it'd end up being about the same amount we got from our uncle ($2000), but I was wrong. Apparently, the base amount we're recieving is $12,000 My Dad mentioned something about another one of our uncles saying something to him about an extra $2000 being added on top of that for whatever reason.

His children (his = my grandpa) are getting closer to $60,000 though, as according to my Mom, she's giving half to my Dad, which is going to be around $30,000. He already owes me $2500, as just yesterday, I had to give him that exact amount out of my bank account, in order to pay for whatever needs to be done to fix our van. My current balance is all the way down to 500 something dollars now, so I really can't wait to get the money

Anyways, it's nearly 6:40 right now, and I have to be to work at 7 (for a closing shift, no less), so I'd better end this here
