You can be a professional poker player with no college degree. See also furnace installation/repair guy. My uncle never even graduated high school and does pretty damn well for himself with the latter profession.

I love the holidays. I can't wait for next week to end so I can have 2 wonderful weeks off and be able to enjoy Christmas time.
I think the only downside to this time of year is having to take out a large chunk of my already small bank account. That's just a punch in the stomach.

But hey, people also give stuff to you, if it sucks you can put it on ebay and make up some of the money.

Trapster - Because life isn't fair. It would be cool to visit mainland Europe someday, though. I've been to England and Ireland, but that's it.

Whoa, cool. Thus far, I've met Setzer, CESum, and Manda, and that's it. A couple of years ago, Blades and Darknean and some friends of theirs wanted to visit State College, but they could never all get the weekend off work at the same time. p00p.

I really won't have much of a schedule. Sleep whenever, play video games, be silly with friends, periodically go out for food and whatnot. It's basically a crapload of people in a large house doing whatever they want whenever they want to with lots of silliness involved. (Beavis and Butt-head quotes, gratuitous pirate talk, DEEZ NUTS...) There will be multiple TV's, game consoles, and computers as well as an occasional card game. Assuming someone has working DDR pads, there will be that too. The people there are a friendly crowd, and they like making new friends, so if you wanted to stop over, you'd be quite welcome to.

And of course I don't have directions to the place. I don't even know the address offhand. We found it OK for New Year's 2003/2004, but the year after that, we got a ride down from Chicago, and this year, we'll just call the house and bug somebody to go get us from the dinky local airport. If you like, I can get directions and PM them to you, and hopefully I can say Y HELO THAR RANKO in person.

Oh, now you're just giving him an OPEN INVITATION to come with that suggestion.

Um...I can pay for gifts with the money I win from other people?

I was actually responding to the jobs-with-no-college-degree discussion.

I knew it! Santa = Stalin... and the North Pole (cold) is just a metaphor for Russia (also cold!) "Santa's Workshop" is actually a Gulag! It's all so clear!

Sh-shut up!

I might just have to take you up on that then...depends if I can actually somehow get the heck out of here and I'm not going to get lined up to go downstate around that time (I have a feeling I'll be downstate in Springfield right around X-mas, dunno about after though).

The whole thing about not knowing where you'll be kinda doesn't help either.

Ha ha.

...

*sighs*

I'm bored.

Hopefully playing Smash Bros and Yugioh and Mario Kart tomorrow at the convention will make me feel better, but... Eh.

Also, guys, I think I have a heart problem. This is the second time I've noticed my heart slip in to an amazingly fast heartbeat. Like, over 200 beats per second.

200 beats per SECOND? If that was the case your heart would've exploded all over the damn place.
