I refuse to play this game due to lolsnakers and the fucking blue shells.

I've said it before, too -- at least MK: SC was half-forgiving in it's super-weapons (e.g., blue shells owuld hit everyone, not just one person, and could be stopped via walls or jumps)

Uh-huh.

Later tonight I'll play you, Xk. (Well, at least I don't snake. Even if I did, I suck at it. )

I concur with X. The items are just too damn broken. Dodging [Blue Shells] and snaking aren't that forgiving for those who don't know how or can't, either.

Yeah, 1000 posts too many. Seriously, it's too damn big as it is right now. Even with my 100 posts per page, it still has 39 pages. In fact, if I were X, I'd code in a topic limit of 1000 posts, possibly less (exempt in the story forum). Besides, such a big topic can lag the server at times. Besides, it's about time we have a new one of these.

Not that I can't master snaking, but ugh... my hands get tired from it.

Guys, I just totally pulled off a spike shell dodge. My self esteem gains 2 points.

Now, can I repeat it? Wish me luck

What the hell, you guys. You've been able to snake in every MK except the original and Super Circuit. I think if it actually was a detrimental tactic they would've removed it right now, instead of consistently making it easier to do and even featuring it in a staff ghost. The people who say it makes their hands tired kind-of make me laugh. I mean, You ARE video gamers, right? Surely you have some manual dexterity built up from all this time. I can't imagine it being a problem. And blue shell dodging isn't so bad if you know it's possible. For one, on paved terrain it requires considerable amount off luck to pull off on 100cc... And for two, if they can't mini-turbo then they can't dodge blue shells, and almost every course has some points at which it's particularly hard to do so due to the terrain, so you need only alter your timing... The game is not so broken as you make it sound.

Mew, I didn't say that I hate snaking. I just feel the game turns partly in a track and field game, just with better timing.

Unpredictable. Watch your backs. Or not. Whichever. I want Metal Gear Solid 4 so badly.

With all those games, my thumbs are skinnier then pencils.

Urm, Kyouji, I really think that we're all different in the gameplay of Mario Kart. All I can say is, in the next Mario Kart, you're mine.

(Oh, and congrats on being nearly perfect.)

No. Perfect would be finishing in 00:000:001. It's humanly impossible, but its perfect.

One cup, and I need to rest for some time before I can snake propely again. x3

Before you call me lazy, keep in mind that I don't play as much as used to on consoles. For five years ago it wouldn't be a concern. xD

SSMTing only hurts my hands when I'm on F8C trying to beat my own ghost. I usually try too hard then. I have good joints.

Though when I first got snaking down, it did feel uncomfortable. It's the same as any repetitiive task; once your body gets used to it, it ignores it.

After a while, it begins to hurt. At least, that's the way it is for people with weaker hands.

Yup same here. In fact, my hands usually get tired by the end of the second lap in that course which causes me to screw up SSMT.

I don't like snaking.

On a side note, I just got inducted into the National Honors Society and National Beta Club. Yay.
