Loss deleter
No seriously, I was just wondering wheather if I ever got WFC and raced you, if I'd get my rear kicked from here to nowhere, or just merely beaten.

...I should improve my rating.
Skill: 7601

Decent, but I've got bronze on most times, and a few silvers. I should race more... but nobody I live near can put up stiff competition.

I may delete my losses, but I still routinely school people with records like 3500-125.

CESum: Actually... Enterbrain owns Famitsu, and the closest ties they have with anything video-game related is ASCII. Not exactly that influential.

It's still rare for them to give out 40/40 scores, and the ratings are still held in high esteem.

From what I hear, they've given out a lot more perfects than, say. EGM.

Only 6 total. Wikipedia has the list:

- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo, for Nintendo 64)
- Soul Calibur (Namco, for Dreamcast)
- Vagrant Story (Squaresoft, for PlayStation)
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Nintendo, for Nintendo GameCube)
- Nintendogs (Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)
- Final Fantasy XII (Square Enix, for Playstation 2)

You could certainly raise a few eyebrows at some of those selections, but I figure out of those 6, you can make a strong case for Ocarina of Time.

GameSpot's only given out 4 perfect scores I think... Chrono Cross being one, surprisingly.

Oh, and in relation to what Sky said about the PSP... I don't really want one. HOWEVER, if someone offered me a free PSP with what looks to be a fantastic game in Mega Man Powered Up, then I'd reconsider.

Huh. As I recall EGM has also given out only six. But I might be wrong about that

Okay, nevermind about that point.

But I still don't have to like FFXII.

I don't blame you, because I've seen a lot of comments stating that the game HAD to have improved considerably from the demo to get that kind of score. :\

Then again, some people have compared FFXII to Vagrant Story... and look what Famitsu gave THAT.

This is going off on a bit of a tangent, but...

A lot of things share the number of syllables that "Hitler" has.

And Rainbow Road is hard as hell to improve on, due to it's very... screw-upabble nature.

You canīt use mushrooms that much either. It can be suicide to use one when youīre turning.

Kyouji, that's about the weirdest tangent I've ever seen anyone go down.

I've never really been too much of a fan of racing games, partially because of the "one mistake and you're screwed" problem that really pervades most of them. I just never really liked that.

Mario Kart isn't really like that. The luck involved means you can come back from mistakes, provided your skill level isn't too low compared to that of your opponent. That's not to say luck is everything, mind you. I mean if you're absurdly lucky you'll probably win against most, but you'll still lose to those of a skill level high enough above your own. Blue shells are powerful, but worthless against those who know how to dodge them.

I'm happy that I have both the PsP and the DS now. PsP is still my baby, but the DS is my little *beep*. *ahem* Yea.... so anyway, once we move, we plan to get a wirless network and I think our own server, so I'll be able to play online much, much more than I'm able to now.

You know that it takes one heck of a timing to dodge them, right? You must pull off that boost on the millisecond.

Or itīs just to hit the brakes to take another player with you.

He said to those who know how to dodge them...doesn't imply that it's easy, I don't think.

I've played a bit of Mario Kart and found myself not TOO far behind people who seemed to know what they were doing, but then, that's not to say they were necessarily good at it, so I know a bit how it is. Still, the same facts of racing games still apply to some extent, even if it's a lesser one.

Uh, if by millisecond you mean you have a couple of frames as a margin of error, then you are correct.

Also, I ranked up. Was a Lightning Bolt, now am a Bullet Bill.

I miss the ability to dodge red shells like in Double Dash. Once in DK Pass I jumped a hill and the red shell went past me and I was like "Yay!" and then it stops and turns around. I hate that.

You can dodge them, it's just harder.

Also you can block them. That's fairly easy (especially with a banana)
