Huh, it seems to be dancing to me. Maybe lololol has difficulty with certain animated gifs?

it animates in both lololol 1.5.01 and opera 8.51. i'm going to assume this is just another one of those mysterious things that cause trapster to make no sense to anyone.

The weird thing is that it works on my own computer and I use lololol both in school and on my own computer. I have lololol 1.06 on my computer. Yeah, I know that itīs an old version but every extension doesnīt work on the newer ones.

Better check the version of the one in school.

The peanut is awesome BECAUSE it's retarded. It's so dumb and pointless that it rules. The crappy white pixels only add to its ness. Zem, you are officially my hero of the day for digging it up. It's peanut peanut peanut time!

And I used to have problems with animated GIF's being stuck in lololol...but I also can't remember how I fixed it. I can tell you that I'm using a beta with a build date from January.

like, did someone find it and go "hey look at this retarded peanut haha" and people started using it or something
finding the image was easy enough but finding an introductory thread would be much more of a pain... if such a thread even exists

Zem - That thread is as good of a guess as any. As far as I remember (which really isn't that well), Rand put it in his post layout and kept talking about it, and I'm pretty sure some other people were posting it, too (but if you weren't one of the chosen few, Rand would bitch at you). I think it was just one of those things that became popular because it was visible and amusingly stupid.
