The only Sim games I've ever played were SimTown, SimAnt ( ) and the Sims.

I love SimAnt.

I absolutely LOVED SimCity 2000 and Roller Coaster Tycoon when I was younger. SimCitey 2000 is probaby the best sim I´ve ever played.

I've never gotten into the games where you play "god" like Simcity and Roller Coaster Tycoon. Anyone want to describe why they play?

Well if all you want is the money, then you can use cheat codes for getting that. This way you can start in 1900 with coal power plants and the like and be proud that your city is able to build Arcologies when they first become invented rather than by your way in 4000 AD ...it's also nice to have your city growing faster than neighboring ones, a pride thing.
