So...how does God restart his computer with his keyboard if it crashes? There is no ALT key...

And Ninja Pirates/Pirate Ninjas for the win.

Seriously, why do kids insist on watching pointless shows about a crappy card game? What's the significance of worthless pieces of paper with pretty little holographic pictures. I never understood that.

Nowadays I watch Yu-Gi-Oh GX, not because of the card game. I think it's just a great show. It focuses more on having fun, and actually playing games than the original, which is all about mythology and yelling the names of cards as you play them. GX is a little more realistic.

I watched Pokémon whenever I could when I was yoounger. I even have a bunch of TCG cards in my room that I collected too. It was one of the first animes I saw so it´s not weird that I liked it.

It got a plot, though. They're protecting the sacred beast cards from bad guys who duel, and it's just so full of plotholes. Like how the main characters are given the keys to guard, and then are explicitly told that ownership of them can only be transferred through the results of a duel so they don't have to worry about the bad guys just killing them and taking them. Yeeeeaaaah...

I saw some of those recent episodes. They're good. I still think they are better than a guy with a weird hair-style who over dramatizes everything, and relies solely on the 'Heart of The Cards" to win. The new character Jaden just does his best and has fun.

Jaden gets hax luck way more than Yugi ever did, he merely does it with themed cards instead of something completely unrelated to everything else coming out of nowhere for the win like Yugi.

I would totally own him though. He's more helpless than normal without spells.

I agree that Jaden is lucky, But with Yami-Yugi it seems like divine intervention or something.

I haven't played the game in a while. But I bought a few packs the other day, just to get a Mokey-Mokey. (I didn't get one). and was thinking about putting together a simple deck just for occasional games.

Personally, I think that Yu-Gi-Oh GX is just whoring out the series. At least the original was...original.

It's not necessarily continuing it for T.V.'s sake. Yu-Gi-Oh was originally a manga. Readers wanted to play the card game in real life, so Konami started making the cards and video games to go along with it.
It's all just one big way of making money. They need to create new series, and characters as a way to promote it, and make more money.
