technical crits: that grey padding around the white is the first thing that comes to my mind as bad when I see it, a few parts of it seem very random, like a pixel on his chin and the hair. Hand is not really defined, and his right shoe has bad proportions [seems like it stops short, and doesn't have the shape of the other shoe]. The shading on the pants seems more sketched out than thought out, and maybe a highlight tone for the hair could help it. The lightning is done pretty well, though. And the shadow seems a pixel or two too small or at least offcenter. Yeah. those are my crits =P Hopefully not motivation-killing. |

| I don't know! I wasn't the one thinking it was looking furry. I just said I don't think so. It's a neutral comment. Neither good nor bad.
Anyway. I think the sprite itself looks good, but I have to agree with setz about the shoe. |
