| I need one for one reason. I ABSOLUTLEY SUCK at putting ExGFX in. When ever I try to put some ExGFX in I tend to blow up the level.
I gave searched all over the forum, I looked at SMW Central's FAQ, and I looked at Ice Board. I KNOW there used to be a tutorial, but I think it died with the old board. |

But in all seriousness, I've been trying to get one done for a while. It's not released, and I want to revise it eventually, but it goes into a large amount of detail. And it doesn't have the m16-7k section done - even the tutorial I found doesn't go into enough detail to make sense. I might release it eventually - maybe when I'm not lazy, maybe when Satan laces up his ice skates... But as for your problem, I suspect you aren't extracting and re-inserting the regular GFX first. Do that, and that should hopefully solve your problem. If not, make sure the ExGFX files are the proper size. |

Wooo! I think I fixed it! Well it works, so I guess I did. you were right, I tried that and it stopped blowing up the entire rom. But the ExGFX was still blown up and it took me half an hour to think 'Maybe I should load the Map16 files?'. Now I feel like an idiot for forgetting that.  ; |

| I have an ExGFX tutorial @ SMW central (a really old version; I'm going to put up a new version SOON. (with M16-7k insturctions, BlockTool; HDMA; ExAnimation; and other crap TUTORIALS)
The one with JUST AN ExGFX TUTORIAL is up at SMWcentral, in the documents section, I think. |
