I hope you don't seriously think that anyone can easily make a program or application.

Legend....of....Zelda editor.

I think even the smartest members of the board haven't gathered all the data needed to make an editor. Plus, no offense, but I don't really think you are capable of this. Sorry

If you do turn around and amaze us all, I will put "I am a fricking dumbass" as my custom title forever. Deal?

There's a grand total of two editors for 3D games I know of, both still in beta - Mario 64 and F-Zero X. Hacking 3D games is not easy! If you happen to know C or C++, OpenGL, at least grade 12 trigonometry, and aren't confused by a lot of math and numbers (and you'll probably need to know R4300 ASM too), there's an OoT hacking thread around somewhere. Otherwise I suggest you start by making a really simple 2D game engine, then move on to an editor for a 2D game with an easy format. (Tip: Pokémon G/S is piss-easy to edit. It's how I learned. ) Eventually, try to make some fun things in OpenGL. If you can make a simple 3D game engine, then you can start working on 3D editors.

I don't mean to discourage you, but there is a LOT of work involved in making a 3D game editor, or even finding the necessary information. 2D games are much easier and there's thousands out there just waiting to be hacked. Go give them a try.

I PMed him an explanation in German, which he replied with obvious google-translated to German crappy English.
From what I got, he's an "American" who moved to Germany.

On a further note, this thread sucks.
