Yeah. Whenever I open the "SNES9X 1.42 (v49).xcode", edit something, and press "Build and Go" it says that there's one warning and one error: "warning: -Wuninitialized is not supported without -O" and "error: unrecognized command line option "-floop-transpose""

Why..?

My guess is you need to use gcc, you can't use any other compiler unless it supports the same options as gcc

Yeah, but in the "How to Build.txt" it clearly says "XCode 1.0 or newer" in the "Things you need" Section.

I think you can safely remove the "-floop-transpose" option. Doing so should allow SNES9X to compile.

I'm not a Mac user, so I haven't used XCode, and I don't know if you need to use a dialog box or edit a makefile to remove it.

Try adding -O1 or -O2 to the options, or remove all the -f options (they remove debugging stuff and further optimize binaries).
