Yo there, ißm new here, so first off, ißll introduce myself. My name's Pave, and i have a small Rom Hacking team, Croatia Games, which is actually made of 2 guys, myself and Vedran. We started to hack SMW 2 days ago, and we're getting very good at it! The only question i got is:

How can i replace the "Super mario world" logo (title screen) With a logo i made in Macromedia Fireworks? I saved it on the Desktop, but i can't seem to paste it in the game somehow, can anybody help me?

1. Wrong forum

2. Chances are, it cant be put in SMW. You cant just draw a big pretty picture and then insert it. You have to work within the confines of the color and space limitations.

You could make it work. Most likely it wont look exactly like that. Open up the AllGFX.bin in your tile editing program and set it to GB or gameboy. Scroll down until you see the title screen scrambled up. Use those spaces to put your graphics in. They dont have to be in the right place, because you can rearrange them in LM. Once you have that saved, open LM, insert GFX. Go to the Overworld editor. In the file menu, go to the title screen editor. Rearrange them to look the way you want it.

In LM, you go to settings or whatever, and make sure "Use joined GFX files" is checked. Then you go to file>graphics>extract graphics. That makes AllGFX.bin so you can edit the GFX. The text may not be the same I am posting, as I am just going off my memory of when I used to hack.

If you're going to be using palette exports from LM, however... Tile Layer Pro is the only other format it exports in... to my knowledge. :\
