I dunno what I did but you could say I greatly screwed something up.

Screenshot in LM
Title Demo
A default problem

The default problem was a pallette problem that was already in there from peter_ac's SMB3 GFX hack. The other two just recently appeared when I imported SMB3 GFX into the overworld.

Also, I'm still having a problem with Bowser's thunder FX in my overworld (the first area, Paradise Land, is based on the Bowser's Valley map). How do I remove those?

ALSO, when I beat Paradise Land 2 (an overwrite of Yoshi's Island 2) there's a big event error on the top left of the overworld, as if those mountains are trying to spring up like on Yoshi's Island. How do I remove that?

I know all of these questions must be annoying but I'm just trying to learn...

I know how you feel when you say people are probably getting annoyed with all these questions. I ask alot of questions too but alot of the time I don't get a good answer.

I wish I could help.

I don't have the answer to your main question..but I do to a couple of the others.

For the hills looking like the Yoshi's Island hills popping up after you beat Paradise Land 2, simply open the OW editor, go to Layer 2 event editing mode, press Pg Up or Pg Down until you find that event on the map, click on it, and hit delete. Do that to all of those tiles.

I always thought the thunder was a sprite. I would just recommend putting the map you're working on onto a different submap, and make the Bowser's submap a lightning world, or dark world, or something that needs lightning.

Sorry if this isn't much help, but it should help at least a bit.

For the hills thing... I deleted it and it didn't work. Do I do it in that one submap or in EVERY map?

Well, presumably it's only happening on one submap, so there shouldn't be anything to delete anywhere else

But just go to layer 2 event mode, page up all the way to event 77 and see if the tiles are still popping up. If so, delete them.
If not, then you forgot to erase your save game. You have to do that every time you change the overworld.

Also, I googled "bowser submap thunder acmlm" and got this.
I seem to recall telling you to check the archive in your previous thread.

1) I think I went to the very top of the events and deleted them all. Also, I don't even HAVE any saved games... they're all empty slots in a ROM that doesn't have any saved states.

2) I remember what you said about checking ROM addresses and I did so but I don't recall seeing anything about Bowser's submap. That link you gave me doesn't even have any posts specifically describing Bowser's submap, so I decided to do what you did and typed "bowser submap thunder acmlm" in google. What comes up? The exact description I needed. Problem: The description is cut off on the hex code... so I decided to go in and check out the post like a smart person would. What comes up? A million errors on the page and no post at all since the thread has an error.

Oh, thanks a lot. I didn't see that... I'll do that when I get home. ^^

That just leaves the strange event after Paradise Land 2 and the massive pallette error.

Massive pallette error? well, It may be that level was never meant for an exit, e.g. if it was inteneded to be a level with ExGraphics, it may just be that the pallette was designed for use with a different set of graphics. If not, on the bright end of things, the yellow and blue look cool. If it's not the answer to your problem, I'm sorry but I cant help you further unless I see the ROM.
