I already made plans this summer to try the Mentos/soda trick. But watching that fountain just killed my anticipation. :\ No way I can do anything that good...

You could always try liquid + dry ice bombs, as seen here. Take caution, though. Don't shake the bottle when you've put the ice in. Also, even though they use soda there, it works with any liquid.

Nice. That video was rather amusing, although, like Colin, I find it rather depressing for if I was going to do it in the future.

(I wasn't, but that kills my hopes even more because I know I could never be that impressive.)

Man, so many broken quotes

What I meant was Alastor, getting them to eat mentos and coke at the same time. Saying something similar to "Hey, I heard coke and mentos taste really good together", same as DarkSlaya said. Then, when they put the mentos in their mouth and drink the coke, the reaction occurs, and a jet of soda shoots out of their mouth XD

Yup, it tastes alot like medicine if you'd ask me. Mentos eh? I saw it last night, the guys were playing with 200 litres of diet coke and over 500 mentos. They sprayed it all over the place making sprinkler patterns. Almost looked like water.

I wonder what would happen if you filled up a balloon with diet coke and shoved a buunch of mentos in?

I'm guessing you've done this? Because otherwise, it sounds VERY implausible. Especially considering how much fizz is lost just by drinking it, and how much drink you tend NOT to drink...
