One time I had a telemarketer call and I thought it was a friend. I start talking about things and he shuts me up.

Starts talking about a product and then I go, "Sorry, but I am expecting a call right away and your wasting your time. I don't order over the phone except pizza. Do you sell pizza?" *CLICK*

Hilarious.

That's horrible.

There's no wit in that story at all.

I'm kind of apathetic to telemarketers. If I get one, I usually just hang up.

One time though, there was a telemarketer that sounded exactly like a computer recording. For some reason, I kept on listening to it, when it pauses for a while, then the telemarketer said "Sir?". It suprised me, and I dropped the phone... and of course, it *would* break.

The witty part happened when my Mom came in and asked me why the phone was broken, and I said it was due to the telemarketer trying to sell me a telephonerepair kit, and I wanted to test it by breaking it. The major flaw in the logic; I couldn't get it if the phone was broken

The moral of the story: wit to 8 year olds has major flaws

what's even worse is during election time

there are 5 candidates running for mayor in my city this year and they constantly call me every day asking if I've decided on who I'm going to vote for etc. And when I say no (after the first few times), they go on and talk to me more about the candidate about his strong points, etc, etc, etc. I'm not sure if there is no DNC list for voters...

The correct answer to that is "Yes. Your opponent."

My friends and I were just talking about that today - they all said that they get tons of political candidate support calls, but I've never gotten one. Granted I do get other telemarketing calls, just not those ones. I wonder why, considering they get up to 5 a day.

The only real call I ever get now is from some frickin company called T.N.S. They want me to keep taking some stupid leisure activity survey. They have called about 30 times in the last month - once a day on average, do the math.

Got a new phone recently though, has caller ID. No more annoying surveys

are you or any of your family registered to vote? since you are still in high school, my guess is you still aren't of age to vote.

Yes, my mom, stepdad, and sister are all registered to vote.

Basically, they have a 3/4 chance of hitting one (unless you have more family members), so they always catch you. Lucky devil.

Which was already put in the display case by Grey. OK then.

I saw it after the fact but... wow... anyone here could have taken the same screenshots from the hack and done SOMETHING with them. Anything's better than his tripe.
