I definitely need to transform this tilesheet into SMW.
All I'm asking is are the colors limited? Could it be possible to implement the following into SMW?

Yeah, I suppose this could be done; you might need to adjust the colors in the sprites a bit if you want them to work perfectly, but otherwise I'm sure you could.

Um...

You ARE gonna credit the rippers... Right?

Umm... yes.

Only thing is you'll need to set each 8x8 block to be of a different palette and you could only use certain blocks at a time. Some blocks can work, but others cannot.

So, unless you recolor all of it to work together, I'm going to say no unless you work your butt off in trying to get it with less colors. I counted over 16 colors for the corner grass ground tile...

You could remove some of the shading colors to make it work, but if you want them intact, good luck with that.

if there is less than 16 different color in each 16x16 tile, it should work fine

Hmm... the corner tile has 44 colors in it... You'll definitely have to reduce the color depth quite a bit, most likely by hand. As it is, it doesn't seem like it'll fit.

Reduce the color depth to 16 using IrfanView, and everything will be (mostly) intact. At the very least, you'll get rid of the graininess that comes as a result of decreasing color depth with other programs.
