| I figured I'd put up a poll WITHOUT the Wii because this place is seemingly biased towards Nintendo *cough* SMW Hacking *cough*
Now there's nothing wrong with this, because I like the Wii's Wii-mote, it's really cool. But the once happy me about being able to download all the Snes, Nes, and Nintendo 64 games and finally being able to have them (At a price, of course) b/c you can't find the aging hardware/software in stores anymore has been demolished by stumbling upon FREE EMULATION 
I'm a SMW hacker, LM is so awesome, and I love the classics (Mario and Donkey Kong); my hack being Super Mario's Journey (Not finished by a long shot, though) can be found in the SMW hacking forum (the demo)! Anyways, I'm personally planning to get the PS3 first, then the Wii. So.... PS3 or X-Box 360? *cough* ps3 *cough* (edited by cory21391 on 05-22-06 05:32 PM) |

| That isn't really the point of this thread. The point is to see which people think is better. The way I see it, the Wii is an obvious and cheap next gen system to buy. But, as far as media, graphics, online play, and everything else, PS3 VS. X-Box 360. Most don't want to fork out around $1200 for 3 systems, they'd rather have 2: Most likely the Wii, which is innovative and cheap, and another, which would be the Graphics, media, etc...; since with the Wii they have the new inovative gameplay.
Besides,I think Nintendo has already said they won't be competing against Sony and Microsoft as far as graphics go (which is very obvious) and they seemingly don't have the hardware to have tons of media capacity/features (such as memory formats like with the PS3's SD card, Memory stick, etc. support).
