| Wii. I have way too many reasons, but some are: Innovative playability, not having to go on eBay or elsewhere to get older games (except gamecube), and Super Mario Galaxy looks awesome! Also, I have been waiting forever for Twilight Princess. | |||

| I think the PS3 price is kinda fair for coming with support for a brand new disc format from the start.. I'm also pretty sure the x360 ended up at around the same price when you add in the new hd-dvd player that's coming for it. However I'm sure I heard that the hd-dvd player for the 360 won't be for games. I probably won't get a v1 ps3, but I will get one. Lower price + less baby diseases = win. | |||

yes, eventually sony produces the "best generation" for its console. Like the 7000 series for the playstation and the 39000 series (gen 7) for the PS2. It's because of console bugs is the reason why I wait to buy a console. Although, I guess Nintendo is better for producing something right the first time  |

| First generation Gamecube, and it still works right up to about five seconds ago when my little sister and cousin were playing Smash Brothers on it.

| I prefer the Wii over the PS3, and I prefer the PS3 over the Xbox 360. My biggest hypes for the Wii is Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the Virtual Console, while my biggest hype for the PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4. There are no truly confirmed announcements I've heard of on the 360 that intrest me.
(...) Electronic Gaming Monthly just has do to a durability test when all 3 consoles of the next-gen consoles come out. I mean, Nintendo has this thing with making things hard to break. A DS can survive being dumped in the toilet. I'm glad that I'm not shut off to other companies... I'd be missing out on some awesome games. |

I went with the last choice mostly because I'm not really a big fan of any of those game systems. I'm a big gamer, but I'm not really interested in any of them. If I had to choose, I would probably go with Xbox 360, then the Wii, and then the PS3. The Xbox 360 has modern gaming style and isn't as expensive as the PS3, and the Wii has an interesting concept to it, but it has very few games I actually want for it. PS3 is just way out there and I don't have the kind of money for it. But the way things are looking right now, I'm probably not going to get one of the systems until I see something I really want, which currently the number one thing for me is GTA4 for the Xbox 360. Until something I must have comes out, I'm gonna remain without any of these. Then again, I may ask for one as a gift so then I don't have to spend my money on it.  |

The only games I want (So far) are: 1.Super Smash Bros. Brawl 2.Super Mario Galaxy 3.Red Steel 4.Sonic Wild Fire 5.Warioware Smooth Moves 6.Zelda Only Red Steel, Zelda, and WarioWare are luanch games though.  |

| There is NO GOD DAMNED REASON for a new proprietary film format. The DVD is a perfectly good format. It doesn't need to be marketed yet. The DVD format should be around for at least another 5 years before we start doing a large switch. | |||

| Well, I said before I was going to go with the Wii first and then the 360 second, I changed it.
Wii is now the first and last system I plan on getting now. After playing a few games on my brother's 360 (DOA4 and Perfect Dark Zero to name a few I played for a longer time) I just did not like it. First off, DOA4 is exactly like the other games, just with a Spartan character and cheaper AI at random. I mastered it on my first play through. PDZ was just... dull. I didn't like it. I didn't know whether my weapon was a sniper or a machine gun at times (since most weapons acted like both to me) and the first mission turned me away from its story mode. And I should also mention that while I have never had a problem accidently turning off my DS by slipping on the power button, I am able to lightly tap the center button on the 360 controller in the middle of gameplay for me to lose because it brings up the 360 dashboard and leaves the game running in the background where my ass is getting shot or pounded constantly against a wall for 10 seconds while I straighten my system out. I'm not impressed. At all. Even some of the graphics were horrible to me. They relied too much on sharp images to where it doesn't look smooth at all to me. And when they did do smooth graphics, they look like crap... So... I'll stick with just the Wii. PS3, too expensive and not impressive, 360 not impressive either. |

| Wii for me.
I typically wait to buy system when they are cheap, but I will probably make an exception for the wii. 360: The only game I'm interested in for that is Halo 3. Doesn't justify the cost, although I may consider it if I find some other games. PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4. See 360. Not only that, but the cost is prohibitive. You can get a 360 and a Wii for the price. Plus it won't be available to just walk in and buy most likely until end of first quarter 2007. |

| Is a poll like this even necessary in such a Nintendo-biased community?
I definitely want a Nintendo Wii. Some appealing games to me are the new Metroid game, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I never was a big fan of the Playstation because I just think Sonic is a bit annoying. As for the 360, it's mostly first-person shooters, GTA, racing and stuff like that, I don't like those games. Darkdata: The Nintendo DS is very fun, I suggest Mario Kart DS, and New Super Mario Bros., for starters. Maybe Super Mario 64 DS too, but meh.
