| Yes but Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG are of the same category, but different subtypes. The way I see it, Role Playing is the category, and Sim-Battle is the subtype. Therefore it would make sense that, unless there was lots of activity, that Sim-Battle should be grouped in with Role Playing. Unless you can show that Sim-Battle is fundentally different from role playing then I don't see you gaining much ground with Xk. You just keep repeating yourself that they are different but I see no attempt to explain why. | |||

| They're only 'different' because some people don't like Simbattles and some people don't like those long stories.
Some people don't like the ACS and Town Square threads in Craziness either, but they deal with it. |

| Um? Since when does that have to do with my claim that ACS and TS are spam threads, whereas SB/SF aren't spam forums? I'm thinking the fact that you're not listening to us when we say change it back is stemming from the fact that you don't think the forum is important enough or has a decent enough name to the rest of the board to grant us our request. IT IS EASY TO IGNORE THREADS If you're only there for the stories, IGNORE THE BATTLE THREADS. If you're only there for battles, IGNORE THE STORY THREADS. IT ISN'T THAT FUCKING HARD. People IGNORE THREADS ALL THE TIME because they do not feel like PARTICIPATING IN THEM AND THIS IS NO DIFFERENT. Come up with a GOOD REASON other than "Waaah, there are threads I don't participate in in this forum!", and we'll see. But for now, STOP BITCHING. |

| Ok let's see how different the Story Forum and Sim Battle are, yes? I don't see them as a place to spam post as it does take time to make a good post in both forums. Even when you try it does take a bit of time to make a post there.
On the other hand, Story Forum people can make LARGE amount of posts with any kind of combination of activity with the characters that are involved in a certain plot. Which in this case plots can be varied and not just set of fighting. While the Sim Battle deals mainly with characters fighting each other. Can deal with a small plot or no plot at all there. Posts can range on there depending on what action is necessary on what's going on. It's like saying Street Fighter is an RPG while placing both of those forums together. Which in reality Street Fighter is technically not a true RPG yet has a storyline to it. It's a fighting game. |

| You know, I may be a little late, but I think that the merging could work if there were two thread icons. One could represent a book for long stories and such, the other two swords to indicate a battle.
But... seeing as the forums are split now, that seems useless... at least until Xk sees it is needed to merge them again... I like the board look now. Makes it seem... clearer to me. Not as cluttered. Just need to get used to it... |

| Advanced SMW hacking, which I kinda liked, didn't work out so well. Then it turned into ROM hacking where it split posts between both ROM and SMW and it got messier and considerably more annoying. Now it's gone and the posts are back in their rightful forums. Good job.

...wow at those who are making a big deal out of this. I was slightly annoyed by the awkwardness at first, but I kept calm, knowing that I'd get used to it soon enough. Seriously, there's no need to start so much controversy over this. It's still the same board, only with different and more generalized forums. It's not like the entire boards are going to implode in a sea of cluttering.  |
