Take a look at this thread. I'm pretty sure that's where it all originated from Most other people that changed their names to meet those "specifications" have already gotten them changed back, but I guess either he likes his username like it is, or hasn't gotten around to changing it back yet.

It still spells "Alastor the Stylish", just not the same way as before

Indeed. I added an X to the name, and rearranged the letters not to fit anything pronounceable but unrecognizeable (as the other people did), but instead I organized them by consonants and vowels, and then by their order in the alphabet.

offtopic, but, even if I would do that, my username wouldn't change

You would need an X.

Aren't we all SO happy to have Alastor to tell us things that we could obviously never figure out ourselves? I mean, seriously. Bxio isn't the same as Bio? Never woulda guessed.

Bio thinks that Bxio and Bio are the "very close."

The point bio is making is that if you were to omit the X while reading it, while using the formula Alastor described for creating said username, it would still be "Bio". How hard is that to understand?

It's a 1-letter difference for a change of 33%. If you assume that means he's 33% WRONG, then he still has a D at 67%, meaning he didn't entirely fail.

Of course, that depends on your grading scale. I based that on the 10-point one; if you use the odd one where an A runs from 93-100, it's an F. But it's a high F!

Of course, it's closer than if he was named Oib. But that's a stupid name anyway.

He also never said it would be the same, but it would be close. This is evidenced by the fact that no rearranging of letters in the set b,i,o would be required. I can't believe I care enough about this to post about it.
