The bat flashed to Grey's shoulder and rested against it. Grey grinned his usual winning smile. "Guess that little bit of work's done. Good job, Troy. I'm just glad nobody was foolish enough to actually try to hurt Kirb." He turned towards Team Rocket, pointing his bat at the two black-clad failures... "And incidentally guys, his name is Kirby Neo Nite, not Kirbynite. I'm just glad I picked up on that before it was too late. I'd hate to think of what we might have done to him otherwise. Now, I'm not quite sure who you people are, but if you think you're gonna go around impersonating my friends, I've got a bone to pick with you. So I'd suggest you prepare for trouble, yourselves!" |

These then opened up, releasing the creatures they contained with a red beam. Spoons: Kadabra! lololol: Vulpix! Billy: And incidentally, noob, we're well aware of Mr. Nite's dual identity. Kidd: We've even been to his home planet before. |

| Troy : *shrug* I knew that Kirb and Yami were glued to each other. I thought it was odd that I hadn't seen Yami until I found him in the bushes outside town after our initial encounter. I knew something was up when I found Kirb a few minutes later and Yami didn't react to him at all. That, and I found it funny that he'd hold a grudge against whoever we encountered when we spent all of 30 seconds pummeling a Star Stone out of him. When he started getting restless and wanting to pursue him back to the steeple right away, I knew something was wrong. It was just a matter of making sure, like you said. | |||

Grey grimaced at the creatures that had beset the group. "Argh... I hate Pokemon battles..." He dashed madly at the two Pokemon, his bat trailing behind him, but barely gave them a second glance before he passed between them and headed for Oni... "Kirb, give me a boost!" Without any kind of warning whatsoever, Grey leapt straight at Oni, hoping he'd take the cue. He didn't bother thinking about it, his focus had to be turned elsewhere for this to work... There was no hesitation in Kirby's actions. He stepped to the side, almost as if he was going to let Grey crash into the ground. Just as the psi boy moved past him, Kirby grabbed onto his comrade's vest. With a growling grunt, he then hurled Grey into the air. Oni: Sorry, didn't mean to frighten ya there. He waited a few moments later, possibly waiting for Grey to finish up the plan, just to say.. Oni: I'd also like to remind you guys who were the ones that got me stuck in wires and then lit on fire. | Grey: "Consider this my apology!"
Grey rose high into the air, above the steeple where Team Rocket had stationed themselves. He focused his thoughts squarely upon the agents, the steeple, the air around him, and his own fingers, which began to tingle with psychic force. At the apex of his jump, with his silhouette eclipsing the sun, Grey began to fall. The wind whipped around him as he crossed his arms and his eyes glowed a dull green sheen. There was a very important lesson that every World of Warcraft player had to learn in PVP. It was that when dealing with pet classes such as Hunters or Warlocks, it was a terrible idea to waste your time with the enemy player's pet, when you could just as easily defeat the player, who would usually be substantially more powerful than its summoned comrade. The pet disappeared after that. Pokemon don't disappear, but that certainly didn't stop Grey from attacking the hunters. "PK Fire Beta!!!" He pointed his fingers at the steeple, and a shotgun blast of crimson flame erupted from their tips at Team Rocket, propelling Grey backwards with recoil. The blast of flames spread wide around the top of the steeple, blackening its shingles with soot. His assault was stopped cold, though, by the boxing glove that fired straight through the blanket of fire and hit Grey square in the chest, sending him flying in an upward arc that ended with him landing hard on his back on the ground below. His head slammed onto the dirt, kicking up a cloud of dust as he skidded backwards a few feet and came to a stop some ten feet away from Oni. He didn't get up. (edited by Grey on 12-27-06 03:58 AM) |

| As chaos erupted and several parties leaped into direct combat, Mel and Smithy stood ignored behind the group. Mel's hands rummaged inside his pockets.. and he produced a Ultra Ball with a thin coat of dust atop it..
SMITHY: Is that.. MEL: It is. He didn't even throw the ball, as is traditional custom - he gave a flick of his wrist, sending the Ultra Ball arcing into the air and to the ground several feet away. The two halves separates, the ball snapping open, and multiple steams of blinding light issuing forth.. The air in the entire area, while warm before, suddenly drastically dropped in temperature. The chill was so great, snowflakes instantly began to fall from the sky - as a slim, yet curvaceous girl, evidently in the nude yet not revealing anything (as if wearing a bodysuit) appeared from the light, floating in the sky. Her skin was almost chalk-white, with a tinge of blue to it - the color of snow. MEL: Rui. The girl swiveled around in midair, bowing softly to Mel. RUI: I am glad to finally see you again, Master. Your command? Mel wasted no time in gesturing towards the distracted Billy and Kidd, as well as their Pokemon. MEL: Now, Rui! Use your Blizzard attack! Rui used Blizzard! Rui swiveled back towards Billy and Kidd, bringing her right arm back behinds her, and then sweeping it up in front of her. Like someone swinging a tremendous paper fan in the middle of a dusty desert, a tremendous wave of ice and frost swept up in front of her, rushing towards the two Team Rocket members and their Pokemon, and completely engulfing them in a rush of white and blue, that left only gigantic, spiky blue crystals in it's wake. It's super effective! |

| It's NOT very effective...
Rui's ice-based attack was countered by a large blast of fire from lololol's mouth, evaporating the majority of it before it could even reach its targets. Fem: This isn't Megaman, Melvin! Spoons: Kadabra! Spoons began firing laserbeam-like blasts of psychic energy at our heroes. |

| The entire area was dry to begin with, and lololol's presence did not leave much moisture in the air intact. He dove out of the way of the salvo of energy blasts and quickly snaked across the ground in prone position. He escaped into the grass, sticking his hand out of the bushes to try to give away his position to lololol.
If he could at the very least get him slightly closer, Troy knew exactly what he could use to his advantage... |

| Kirby, to the best of his ability, jumped in the way of Spoons' psychic attack. Thanks to his dark innate attribute, his body absorbed the psychic move with no damage done.
Oni: It's time to start wrapping things up. The furry treasure hunter held up his right hand and began shaking it. A black aura started to grow around his feet. Oni: Forever Zero! A sphere emerged from the ground, and hovered above Spoons and lololol. The forest and house seemed to have disappeared and been replaced by stars and other celestial bodies. Dark bolts of energy then shot down at Spoons and lololol, tearing up the ground with every bolt that missed its target. |

| Spoons fainted!
lololol fainted! The two Pokemon were instantly called back to their pokeballs, which in turn warped back to their owners' hands. Kidd: Crap, time to retreat... Billy: But Ditto's still down there! However, when Billy turned to point at our heroes, he couldn't spot Ditto anywhere. Fem: Looking for this? The two Team Rocket members turned around to see Fem hovering in the air behind them, Ditto's barely conscious body dangling from one of her hands. Fem: You know, after our last encounter, I really thought you two had taken a turn for the better, but this is even worse than anything you'd done before. Turning people into Pokemon in order to sell them... Billy: Wait, wait, wait, wait, what!? 
Ditto: Shit...
Kidd: Ditto... 
Ditto: *sigh* This is exactly why I didn't want to tell you the details of this plan. You humans have a way of getting overly moralistic when it comes to your own race and others that are very similar to you. You two have never had any problems stealing and selling Pokemon. Kidd: That's entirely different. Ditto: Oh, so you're saying then that Pokemon, such as myself, are inherently inferior? Billy: You're different from other Pokemon, though... Ditto: The only way in which I'm different is that I've taken the time to learn to speak your language. I highly doubt you'd change your opinion on this mission if I told you all the people spoke Russian. Kidd: Of course not. Besides, I can speak Russian.. 
Billy sighed, and then turned to speak to our group of heroes, still on the ground. Billy: We're awfully sorry about this, guys. If we knew what Ditto was up to... Fem: And I'll take that star stone now, Ditto. Ditto: No way, I paid that uncle of yours good money for this. Jack: WHAT!? Fem: You're not in a position to argue. Ditto: Meh, fine. Ditto pulled the Star Stone out of himself and placed it in Fem's other hand. She then tossed it down to Kirb. Fem: I'll let you two deal with punishing him. Fem tossed Ditto to Kidd, but before Kidd could catch the purple blob of a Pokemon, he had transformed into a Capsule J. Ditto: Forget you guys. I'm going solo. And before anyone could stop him, Ditto blasted off into the forest. |

| Kirby stood panting, not taking care to the red Star Stone. He noticed Grey was pretty much laid out. Kirby realized he finally had his items back, and quickly pulled out a small green mushroom with white spots.
The furry lad hopped over to Grey, and shoved the mushroom into the unconcious boy's mouth. Oni: C'mon, snap out of it, man... |

| Rui had somewhat of a frown on her face, as she slowly hovered backwards to Mel and Smithy.
RUI: Aaa... That did nothing.. gomen ._. MEL: Don't sweat it. You're still leveling up, after all. Rui forced a smile, and offered a soft bow as an Ultra Ball bounced off her forehead, turning her into a cloud of red energy that spiraled into the ball before it snapped shut. Pocketing the Ultra Ball, Mel crossed his arms over his stomach. MEL: Well. So we're up another Star Stone, and... Kirby has been turned into this furry cat thing. SMITHY: "Halt! I am Cat-Man. I'll scratch your face off." Mel, however, skidded to a stop directly beside Vivian, casually stretching out an arm behind her to plant his hand on a conveniently placed tree. | An arm stuck out of the grass, yanking Mel off his feet and dragging him into the bush. In a flash Troy was back on his toes, snaking into the exact same position.

Kirby, making sure Grey had devoured the mushroom, stands up and walks over to Vivian. He puts his hand on Vivian's shoulder, which causes the kunoichi to flinch. Oni: Hey, it's cool. Vivian: Oh... K-Kirby... Oni: She helped me get through this. She's not a baddie. Vivian: Um.. Listen.. I am sorry about earlier.. everyone.. I.. Would really like it if I could travel with you guys.. Oni: You guys are't gonna reject a nice, pretty girl like her, right? Yami! You like her too, don't you? Vivian blushes as Kirby holds up Yami. Yami: Yoshi! 
Oni: Oh! I'm so glad you can tell it's me! I was so afraid you'd be frightened of me! Kirby huggles Yami. |
