| Vivian leapt behind Oni, and drew out her katana.
Vivian: I do not understand your behavior, but I promised to help Oni get his body back. I will not hesitate to take either of you down. The kunoichi slightly turned her head to look at what the anthromorphic lynx was doing. She saw a wall of text flying through the monitors, with random icons flashing everywhere. The loud humming from the machine started to slowly died down. All of the monitors turned off, while the glowing keys on the keyboard stopped giving out light. Vivian: ... Did you do it..? -------------------- Meanwhile, the group of heroes had finally arrived at the Creepy Steeple's outside gates. It was dead silent outside, no doubt thanks to the Heartless ruling the forest. Despite all this, little Yami was having the time of his life, riding on the back of Troy. Yami: Yoshi!  |

| Oni looked down at his hands. They were still furry.
He furrowed his brows while he kneeled down to open up the bottom cabinet. He pushed through the mess of wiring, searching for the power switch. Unfortunately, he saw something he didn't want to see. Oni: It.. It's burned out. Stupid piece of junk, it's burned out!! The feline "treasure hunter" was now overcome with rage. A roar escaped his throat, causing the house to rattle. Shattering the ceiling of the cabinet, Oni forced his way back onto his feet. Man: Eeep! Woman: Time to run away! And so they did. Oni slammed his fists down onto the machine, causing an explosion of metal and silicon to erupt out into the room. The cat-man continued to tear apart whatever was left of the contraption. |

| Even after stopping Troy continued shrugging his shoulders and randomly pivoting around to attempt to discard his passenger, though it didn't seem to do much besides excite Yami even more.
Troy : We need to corner our friend here again and make sure we put him in his place this time. I don't know how many more times we can walk through that sea of Heartless unscathed. Speaking of... there's always a possibility that he has a vague idea of why they're here in this quantity, better than what the people in town were able to describe at least. I'd never thought about shaking him down over that to begin with... |

The steeple's windows shattered while shingles slid off the roof and fell onto the ground infront of everyone. Kirby: Hah! He thinks he can scare us away? We beat him before, and this time, we'll put him down for good! Oh, and of course it will deal with those shadow creatures too.. --------------------- Vivian: O-Oni.. Vivian sheathed her katana, and turned to face the feral beast that just broke apart some serious piece of hardware. She pushed her straw hat so that it would hang off the back of her neck. Vivian: Oni, listen.. there are many things in this world.. The kunoichi with shimmering red hair slowly stepped towards Oni. Vivian: There is other technology and magic that can help you. She held out her hand, hoping she would be able to grasp Oni's shoulder. Vivian: You need not worry about finding a way alone. I will stick to my promise of helping you retrieve that which you have lost. She tried her best to smile, but her pounding heart was making it a bit hard. She felt embarassed.. perhaps even as far as saying it was a dorky thing to do, but she was helping someone! |

| Oni quickly twsted the upper half of his body around and snarled at Vivian. His eyes were glowing so brightly that his pupils were gone. His teeth were all bared, and his face was all scrunched up.
His breathing started to slow down after staring at Vivian for a while. His eyes started to dim, and his face lost its scowl. He stumbled backwards, burying his face in his hands. Oni: I.. I'm sorry.. I just felt something inside me.. |

| Mel raised an arm, cocked at the elbow ninety degrees like a squadron captain about to give a signal.
MEL: Do we have something explosive? Smithy knelt down onto one knee. His forward leg snapped outward just below the knee, of which a small turret rose out of. SMITHY: Trajectory? Mel paused. MEL: T.. the steeple. Shoot the steeple! Without hesitation, something clicked in Smithy's mind, causing his knee to emit a loud crack and fire a comically bullet-shaped shell into the air, which detonated against the steeple, causing the entire house to shake and rock violently. |

Before he finished his words, Oni and Vivian emerge from within the house. Kirby: That's more like it! Vivian, who's face was hidden by her straw hat, took a step forward and drew out her sword She furrowed her brows at Kirby as a thought ran across her mind. "I still don't understand why he looks like this.. And they.." Kirby: Let's just put an end to this, shall we? All right, kids, put on your fighting gloves! Er.... Let's rock, baby! Zap: We're with you, Kirb. Teddylot: Hah! This creep really did team up with one of those Shinobi Siren chicks! I'm gonna give 'im one of this! And then one of these! Teddylot thrusted a few fists into the air, while Zap shook his head. Kirby: Very good, my loyal pals. How dare this nameless nobody challenge the great Kirbynite?! Vivian: ... K-Kirbynite? The mission objective... I can't believe it... All this time.. I was... I feel like an idiot. Kirby: What's going on here, huh? Fight with your girlfriend? As Vivian disappeared, Grey rushed in front of Kirb again and sullenly drew his hand back, an empty look on his face. With a foul scowl, Grey backhanded Kirby across the jaw before taking a step back and glaring intently at him. If this was what it had to come to... Grey was sick of just sitting and watching. As a Fan, he knew injustice when he saw it. "Come on now, we've beaten on them enough, and they've done nothing to hurt us! We're hunting them like wild rabbits, and you're here standing off about how amazing you are and just kicking the poor guy when he's clearly down and out!" Grey gestured to the catman, who looked fairly healthy, if by "healthy" one were to mean "cursed, weakened, and psychologically shattered at the moment". Grey could feel the fatigue and anger radiating from the cat creature, and it was all directed at the super-powered team of adventurers. "Come on, now, if we fight him here we'll just trounce him like we always do, and there won't be any reason for us to bring him down other than out of spite! The least we can do is either ask him nicely to tell us what we need to know, or at least try to help him so that he'd be willing to cooperate with us! Now, I know that I shouldn't be talking like this, especially considering what I did to this guy earlier, but that was when he had the entire town under some kind of curse! Considering he seems fairly harmless right now in comparison, and we don't actually have any beef with him, why can't we just leave him alone, or at least just try a diplomatic solution before getting our beatdown on?" | Before Oni could say anything, everyone's attention was drawn to the partially-destroyed steeple, which was being illuminated by a spotlight of unknown origin. Standing there were the man and woman that Oni and Vivian had encountered earlier. They were now dressed in distinctive black outfits with white shoes, gloves, and belts. In the middle of their black shirts was a large red R.
Woman: Prepare for trouble! Man: And make it double! Woman: To attack the world with devastation. Man: To rob all peoples regardless of their nation. Woman: To insure the failure of truth and love. Man: To extend our rule to the sky above. Woman: Kidd! Man: Billy! ---------- Jack: Great, it's- ---------- Billy and Kidd: Team Rocket, against everything that's right! Surrender now as you will not win the fight! ---------- Fem: Wait a sec, if Billy and Kidd are here than that means.... *points at Oni* He's Ditto! Oni: W-what!? Honestly, you loonies have the worst timing! |

Kirby: I don't know what you thought of from earlier adventures, but this is a situation we have to take seriously. Those Rockets might be a bumbling group, but there's just sometimes when they have enough luck with them to make them formidable. And that Ditto.. oh, man, is he a genius. He let himself get beaten up just to take my abilities. I bet he took the time to figure out what abilities he can do. I'm sure he'll figure out a way to lose that furriness... I don't want to even think of what sort of damage he'll cause pretending to be me! The spikey headed "treasure hunter" looked at Grey with a very serious face. Kirby: I know you don't like this, but are you going to let a group who have been notorious for causing trouble slip away without at least some proper disciplining? Grey: "Fine. Go ahead. Do what you want..." He turned towards Team Rocket, but cast a glance behind him at Kirby before speaking again. "...But don't touch Oni. I'll handle him." Grey's fingers extended, and closed around his baseball bat as it appeared in his hand... |

Zap grabbed Teddylot by the scruff of his neck before the teddy ran off towards the feline "treasure hunter". Zap: Hold on a moment here. I don't know how much experience Troy and Grey have in these matters, but we have to look at this carefully. Kirby has been behaving rather oddly this entire journey. Teddylot: Mood swings! Which means.. The spazzy bear freed himself from his grip and ran over to Kirby, quickly climbing onto his typical perch of the spikey headed "treasure hunter"'s head. Teddylot: It's time for YOU to prepare for trouble! Teddylot thrusted a pointing finger at Team Rocket. That is, until he saw little Yami waddling over to Oni... Teddylot: Oh, fiddlesticks. Kirby grabbed Teddylot and tossed the bear to the ground. Kirby: You people are thinking too much about this! I'll show you all the truth! He took a few steps backward, stepping away from everyone. He crossed his arms across his chest, and hunched over a bit. Kirby: The once a story unless some circumstance move that hurts everyone but allies! |

| It was too late for anyone to try to escape. The attack Kirby was about to unleash may have a slow start, but it would quickly expand with an enormous radius.
The ground beneath everyone started to crack as pieces of dirt flew up into the air. Bolts of lightning shot out of Kirby's body, tearing up the soil around him. The air in the area began to swell around until it had just suddenly stopped. Kirby uncrossed his arms, and then slowly collapsed onto the ground. Vivian: Hey. Vivian stood behind where Kirby was standing, with her left arm in a slight slant. It was the kind of position an arm would be in after delivering a sneak attack chop to the neck. |
