PLICK turned around to scurry out of a small hole in the back of the room, only to be confronted by Piki, who took out the evil Puni with one punch (Or was it a kick? It's hard to tell with these things). Thanks to Punio, Piki, and our heroes, that was the end of the evil PLICK! Fem: (No it isn't, he's only unconsious )
The gangs returned to class and became honor Punis. Pami was rescued in time to finish her shopping. Yes... all was once again peaceful in the Boggly Tree. |

Birdo - Oooh! You should really try out the Mega 'Shrooms! Mewtwo - ~... No thank you. ~ Mewtwo and Birdo, along with a few female mages, were walking on the path to Fungeria. It was the only place they could find clues on Dani's location. So far, the road that was leading them there was filled with bricks, boxes filled with golden coins, and mushrooms. Mewtwo - ~I am not enjoying it too much here.~ Birdo - Oh, come on, you need to lighten up! Mewtwo - ~... You're starting to sound like that damn fool, Kirbynite.~ Birdo - Aie! Alright, I'll be quiet, sir. --------------------------- There was a little jingle, a familar 1up sound, coming from Kirby's pocket. Without a word, Grey casts off his detective coat and it disappears into nothingness. He keeps the hat, though. It's pretty pimp. Having done his usual schpiel of hiding like a coward during Crump's attack, he emerged from his hiding spot, covered in a spat of new vestaments, revealed to be beneath his coat. His gun remained, but it hung from a holster that was strapped to a dark green vest and a pair of khakis. He had also apparently, and without explanation, changed his shoes from the reasonably fashionable leather loafers to a simple pair of black sneaks. There was no word about his appearance uttered from his mouth. He simply nonchalantly reached into Kirb's pocket, pulled out the PET that was inside, and hit a button on the reciever, waiting for a response. "Now let's see what we've got here..." |

The screen on the Personal Terminal device Grey had yoinked flickered on with the image of figure wearing a blue helmet. Megaman.EXE: You're not Kirby! Where's Kirbynite at? He's got a message that says its from Schala. Kirby seemed to have been infused with life as he sprung to his feet and lunged at Grey. Kirby: What what what? Gimme! ---------------------- Random Fungerian: Greetings! And welcome to... to.. to... EEK! LACE YOUR DOORS WITH DARK STONES! IT'S MEWTWO! The little Toad immediately ran off into a nearby house as Mewtwo, Birdo, and the female mages stepped foot into Fungeria. Mewtwo - ~Interesting... I would've expected this sort of reaction had I sprouted spikes and horns...~ Birdo - Well.... I mean.. you ARE Mewtwo. Mewtwo - ... Birdo - I.. er.. I'm sorry sir. I'm not saying that's your fault.. |

| ROB: Wait, Queen Dani, I wanted to ask you something... This person, Kirbynite... There is a data entry which mentions him in my memory... But it predates my first date of operation, and there is no identification on who entered it. The writing style does not match that of any user on this system, and after more searching I have found even older entries in the same style. What's more, they are all located in the same data area as my main operating system. This does not compute. It is the second error I have ever encountered, and again it relates directly to you. You were able to diagnose the previous error. Do you have any idea what might be the cause of this one?

Danielle shook her head as she turned and walked out the door. ------------------------------------- Kirby walked out and looked around. The world was still in its monocrhomatic scheme. Thoughts started to seep into his mind, slowly pushing away the agitation lodged into his brain. Kirby: You know.. I wonder if this was how the world looked like to Pops way back in his day... ------------------------------------- Birdo - Ugh, you're useless. Mewtwo - ~... Perhaps we might try at that house.~ Mewtwo floated over to the house. Before he moved closer to the door, a fungerian shrieked. Fungerian Otaku: Noooooo! Y-you m-may be M-Mewtwo, b-but I'm n-not going to l-let you have m-my treasure! The fungerian, who was standing behind his house, ran around and pulled the poster off the wall. However, before he tried to run, Mewtwo lifted his right hand and psychicly lifted the fungerian off the ground. Fungerian: N-noo! I'm a goner! Atleast I'm with my t-treasure!

Grey pulls out a Nintendo DS and begins mashing buttons on it, as the soundtrack to River City Ransom plays out of the tinny-sounding synthesizer of the miniscule piece of gaming hardware. He's clearly idling, but then he notices something odd. "Hey, this looks kinda familiar..." Using a special knob he installed on the side of the DS' top screen, he turns the color setting on the monitor down to nothing. It, much like the rest of the world, is entirely in monochrome. A wave of realization washes over him as, after the fact entirely, he comes to an understanding. ".....Oh. I see what you did there." |

| Grey: "Finally, some action!"
He slams his DS into sleep mode, grabs an OT-ing Jack and Fem, clocks Melvin and Smithy in the head, and high-tails it back to the pipe, emerging on the other side alongside Kirb. "I'm not liking these sewers very much. They get very unsanitary if they're not properly maintained, and if that's the case I have to ask how you can stand this kind of travel!" He wipes a bit of slime off of his vest, an obvious remnant from the pipe's last cleaning. As he waits for Jack and Fem to come to their senses, Grey spurts out a quick monologue. "Let's see what I can remember about these pipes... I recall hearing once that the pipes of the Mushroom Kingdom, the Beanbean Kingdom, Rose Town, Fungeria, Moleville, and all points west were originally supposed to be a part of a huge mass-transit system to unite all of the territories on this continent. Needless to say, it was an obvious failure, given how we have to travel from the surface to the pipes and vice versa. What I heard was that the Princess and her counselors were attempting to construct the system based on the efficency of underground travel, the structural integrity of the common sewer pipe, and the odd cleanliness that the unique mushroom cap heads of the Toadsters were able to exhibit." He tapped on the walls of the cement sewer. There was almost no knocking noise, indicating that they were very solid. "Keeping in mind, of course, that the foundations for the sewers themselves were based mostly on the sanitation systems that the Mushroom Kingdom had already employed. These are separate from those systems, but as you can see, the rushing water nearby indicates that such transit points are actually useful in aiding the sanitation system by providing a filtering point for the rather yucky water. It's still not the best idea in the world to fall in, though. The attack on the Mushroom Kingdom by Bowser and his Koopa Troop back in the old days left this plan devastated by the financial difficulties associated with the various ransoms of Princess Peach, the reconstruction efforts of the surface, and the legal fees associated with such efforts. Even when Mario came along and started to stop Bowser, he was forced to use the half-completed transit systems to get around, when on-the-surface travel was too dangerous and there was no way to get around via an aerial or naval means. The legal fees associated with the various apprehensions of Bowser, and the fees that were associated with the reconstruction of the prisons he subsequently broke out of were another detriment to the transit system, and it was eventually abandoned in its half-completed state, leaving nothing more than localized tunnels around certain sections of the kingdoms. One exception to this is the tunnel system between Rose Town and Moleville, which was completed independently of the Princess' jurisdiction based on the necessity the Moles held for the tunnelling system. Known as the Pipe Maze, I'm pretty sure only the Moles know how to navigate it nowadays... But aside from that one area, you'll never find a truly complex pipe system that connects two major regions in the Mushroom Kingdom and all outlying areas. It's fascinating, really." He notices the sleep bubbles filling and deflating around him, and decides to stop his yammering, before he got really boring and described the various lairs of Belome... Grey's ongoing monologue for the bored seemed to have hastened the trip to the Thousand Year Door. Kirby: And these sewers we're in.. This used to be a city long time ago, I think. As the other two times, lights began to shoot out in unusual formations around the pedestal as Kirby held a piece of parchment infront of him. After the lights went away, Kirby looked at the map. An island appeared on the map. However, it was a bit odd, as it was placed high in the sky, hovering over the ocean. Kirby: Glitzville?! Aw, for the love of.. This has to be the worst time for the Warp Stars to be out of service.... |

| Kirby: I've seen commercials for it on tv. It's basically like New York City. Only it's about one block big... Oh, and no crime.... And cleaner. There aren't many stores there, but it's all basically about the Glitz Pit.. All about Pro-Fighting, and such.
Kirby closes up the map and turns to Fem. Kirby: Fem.. should we go speak to your grandpa about this, or do you know of a place that can take us to the sky, ASAP? |
