"Chaos" noticed this so he begun to draw in what looked like blue colored energy into his hands, and flew upward. He then had tapped into the Manipulation Materia, and will attempt to manipulate the large bird flying at him. If successful he'll force it to home in on CF. If only they knew what kind of powers Vincent's Chaos form can weild in battle, but then again, I doubt they'd played the game... or an imported one, he thought to himself. |

| CrossFusion: Better tap into my energy reserves and modify the Aura. Let's see here... tweak this, change this, move that to hex FF... toggle that flag... bing! This Aura will now last until it is defeated. Although it drains my attacks as well until then.
CrossFusion: "If you don't Attack, then I will!" CrossFusion starts glowing with energy once again, charging energy into his SwordofAges |

| The bird that was flying at 'Chaos' was stunned for a couple of seconds, his ability apparently succeeding in controlling the bird... until it cawed in pain, turning into black smoke.
(Dark Chaos Roulette: Item #5, Defense Down: the opponent's defense is severely diminished, to the point of being equal to a normal human's.) As he were to do whatever he'd do next, he'd notice his muscles seemed to become weaker and weaker... his strength wasn't diminishing, oh, no, but... Meanwhile, the other bird was already on CrossFusion's face, trying to distract him. |

| "Fuck this, switching back to normal!" He fired a large beam of blue energy that fastily flew towards the silver haired man, before he flew off out of line of fire.
Before he returned to normal, the Final Attack Materia kicked in, and linked to it from a double-linked slot was the Pheonix Materia. A golden orb fell from the sky and melted into the ground, before waves of fire burst out, and a shining light that came from a golden fiery bird appeared. With teh wings tucked in, he looked out befor eit screeched loudly, possibly catching teh attention of everyone -- including the bird distracting CF -- before it flew up high, and spread its radiant wings, flares of fire erupting out in every direction. The CanoGrd3s may be strong, but even their metal shields can't stand up to this heat. The bird that was distracting CF would be purged and possibly deleted without causing any bad side-efects to either Vincent-David or CF. After the attack has finished (whenever it has harmed CF or the silver-haired lad..... who is nameless, with moderate damage), the bird vanished, and the DNA form wore off, thus returning David back to normal. He used a Remedy Battlechip, which purged him of abnormal side effects that happened when the bird he manipulated blew up in his face. All status effects that may have or already have hurt his abilities in battle was purged, thus returning him to his normal strength. "Hmm..... that man with his weird-ass birds poses a threat to my health... that I'll take care of later." He turned and gazed towards CF, before pulling out his D-Saber, and flies towards him, gripping the saber in his right hand tightly. |

| The CanoGuard all burst into data immediatly as the heat starts touch them, faster than one would expect. The attack flows over CrossFusion's Aura but alas is negated due to its high level of protection.
CrossFusion: That might have pierced the Aura, if he had thrown it all at me and me alone. Here he comes, with a sword. I wonder what he is going to do to stop my Aura. CrossFusion jumps back and slashes with his Sword, throwing the charged time energy at David and hopefully scoring a hit. |

| The lad backflipped over the beam, moving surprisingly high for him... but he was incapable of avoiding the flames, and fell onto the ground, rolling. "Ah! Hot! Hot!" he screamed, while trying to cool off.
As soon as he was sure he wasn't as pained, he began to get up, smoke coming from over him. "Oh, you shouldn't have done that..." he grumbled, as he watched the effects of the Remedy Battlechip. "...I still don't know how a human can use those... oh, frack it, I'll think of that later. First I need some air support... HEY, GRYPHE!" he screamed at the heavens, loud enough for everyone in the nearby area to hear... and even a tad farther than that. (COUNTDOWN: 3) He then began stretching, noticing how nobody was paying attention to him... yet. As he stretched, feathers were appearing in his fingertips, and he was letting them flow to the ground, waiting... (OoC: ...be glad I'm making an exception, since technically you shouldn't be able to heal the effects of the Chaos Roulette like that...) |

| David flashed CF a smirk as he activated Big Guard. When the SOnic Boom struck him, it only struck the golden energy barrier that had surrounded him, then returned to being invisible. Whatever damage it would of been normally at only felt like getting punched in the arm.
"Raikousen!" The D-Saber sparked with electricity as he suddenly vanished (really dashing past CF) then ended up behind him, a bolt of electricity tracing his path, which CF was in front. Right away he spun around and attacked with, "Juuhazan!" He will attempt to bring the saber down in a crushing blow that if connecting will shatter his aura. It'll also deal in some damage. OOC: Juuhazan (Wave Slash) - When standing still David will perform a heavy downward slash that will destroy any guard, shield, aura, or barrier the opponent has brought up. Raikousen (Lightning Flash) - David dashes forward and strikes the opponent with an electrified D-Saber. During the dash David momentarily turns invisible. Big Guard - Protects David in an invisible golden energy shield. It's the same as the Enemy Skill Big Guard from Final Fantasy VII. The "Barrier" portion supresses physical damage, "MBarrier" supresses magical attacks and energy based ones, plus David is put in somewhat of a speed boost, otherwise in "Haste." |

| CrossFusion: Sensors indicate NorthWind type energy about to strike from David's Sword. This Holy Panal is fading, I'd better act fast..
As David starts his slash, CrossFusion spins around in place... David's slash tears through the Aura, dissapating it and runs straight into CrossFusion's raised SwordofAges, pushing CrossFusion back with the sheer force. CrossFusion: This combo is getting old, time to switch out for something new... |

| David grinned. "Rekkoha!" He slammed his fist into the ground yet again, but this time, a rain of lasers from the sky bombarded the entire battlefield.

| If he did scan David, his scanners would determine he is just a normal human wearing reploid-like armor and technology. It would also show that his armor is based off that of Axl, RockMan, and Zero. But, this is no ordinary human, as his ID shows he is a Class S Maverick Hunter of the 17th Unit Division.
But, future scanning into his character cannot be determined. David quickly jumped away, to gain distance as he morphed his right arm into the Dark Buster. He shifted his aim past CF, and fired several plasma shots towards the silver-haired man. |

| The shots were flying true... but as they approached, he merely created a few feathers and threw them at the shots, intercepting them... and the plasma dissolved upon contact!
"Hey, I didn't hit you yet, you know... so why did you try to attack me so many times?" he asked, although it was more of a gamble for time than anything; he just needed to think up a strategy before his support came up... (COUNTDOWN: 2) |

My arch-nemesis Shadow has proven that time and again... each time I deleted him he only comes back more powerful than ever... he thought to himself, before turning his attention towards CF. |

| CrossFusion: He's right, that silver-haired guy has been out of the physical combat long enough. Electric death it is...
CrossFusion suddenly erupts in torrent of electric energy, electricity bursts out in all directions, but is actually relatively harmless to anyone it touches. As the electricity starts to clear, a more yellow CrossFusion wielding a huge spear writhing with electricity starts charged the silent one. CrossFusion: "Spirit of Justice, Guide my strike. Aimed Shot!" CrossFusion: With Aimed shot I should get a hit off reguardless if he tries to dodge. I feel the Electricity flowing... This shot should make myself vulnerable. Here we go, AntiDamage Trap set. Unfortuatly, I only have one of them David, being experienced in the ways of the net, should notice the ???? appear as a result of a Trap being set. CrossFusion's target, however, wouldn't notice because of the nature of the data. CrossFusion twirls the huge SpearofJustice effortlessly as he charges, once he gets within reach he swings it down to holding two hands charging, thrusting it at the silver-haired human. |

Rather than avoiding, he just moved a hand backwards, and began charging something on it. (COUNTDOWN: 1) Of course, the attack hit him, sending him skidding backwards... but he apparently hadn't been really damaged. (edited by The Letter H on 06-17-06 05:42 AM) |
