CrossFusion: "So, I get to battle finally. Well, here goes nothing."

CrossFusion: Ah, the Shield blocks all ranged attacks of decent and lower strength almost of its own free will. Other than that, the Shield can slowly absorb energy from attacks its blocked until eventually it reaches critical mass and super charges the Sword. With Gorgeman twined into this...

CrossFusion raises his shield quickly to block the incoming shotgun bullets. The shield glows with blue energy as every bullet strikes it. CrossFusion jumps straight towards David, as he pulls his shield to the side and pulls forward his Sword. The shotgun rounds now strike CrossFusions body as he makes it almost next to David.

CrossFusion: "Age of Brillance, Age of Strength and Age of Vitality. Strikes of Youth!"

CrossFusion's body glows with a brillant blue color as he slices at David with a glowing sword, with complete disregard to defense and focusing everything he has into every horizontal slash, every vertical slash. In almost no time at all, CrossFusion slices dozens of times with the strength of a powerful hero in the prime of his age.

The lad jumped out of the way in time... only he miscalculated, and had flown over the two Reploids. "Oh, dear... I really need to stop using the theories when in a panic... oh well," he talked out loud, while preparing more feathers to throw at the other warriors.

Once he was on an adequate height, he threw them ahead, before falling onto the ground, raising lots of dust...

I hope they know that I'm just a human wearing cybernetic armor transformed into a famous video game character, Vincent-David thought to himself. His shots seemed to do damage, but not enough to make CF flinch.

Vincent-David knew how damgerou sthis was, so he used Barrier Materia and created a shield around himself to buffer and protect himself form being struck by full powered slashes. The attacks DO hit, but they are only at half the damage it would of normally done, plus all that damage is helping with filling the Limit Bar.

Limit Break -- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Now for the silver-haired man, he simply flew higher thanks to Vincent's adaquet ability of flight, and ShadeMan flew down and grinned.

"Crush Noise!" He spread his winged arms to the sides and released a supersonic blast from his chest aimed towards the silver-haired man. What, you thought the Darkloid was finished?

When Shademan flew at him, the Darkloid might have thought he had an easy prey... but when a crow flew towards the supersonic blast, taking it, he would possibly realize he was screwed.

(Chaos Roulette, Item #8: Energy Drain: The opponent has his vital energy sapped; can defeat in one hit... IF the die hits 1.)

Chaos Roulette, Item #8: Energy Drain (1d6=4) = Medium damage (up to 50%)

As the dust cloud dimmed, it was clear the lad was fine... even if he had a few black feathers over his body. "Heh... stupid NetNavi... if you're gonna go for the kill, then do it like THIS!" he screamed, before hopping at the probably falling Shademan, trying to grapple it.

If he succeeded, he'd pile drive the stupid bat... diagonally.

CrossFusion: That didn't go over as well as I'd have hoped. Oh well, I'm still in this game. Time for a little sensors to maybe find some weaknesses. ... ... Well, David here is Human. Some strange sort of technology has transformed him into another... Human. I wonder what that form gives him. Well, activating SwordofAges hidden function number 2.

CrossFusion: "Age of weakness. Slow cut!"

CrossFusion starts slashing, with more finesse than his previous attacks but not as quickly. The Blade erupts with grey energy with every slash.

CrossFusion: If one of these strike, he will be slowed temporarally.

"Stupid human! Take this! Black Wing!" The digital Immortal spread his wings out and unleashed a swarm of black bats that flew towards the silver-haired man. Each possible hit is only a minimal of 30 HP damage, but the Darkloid summoned a Shade Claw from a warp hole and will attempt a slahs at his back.

As for Vincent-David, the fast agility of this form allowed him to escape much of the slashes, before he pulled out a 9mm with his left hand and fired all the rounds at the face, before flying off to gain distance and landing. The weapon was empty when he unloaded the clip towards CF, so he put it away, and resumed to defense.

"Human? Still thy tongue, Navi!" he replied, as he apparently paused in midair, his arms crossed in front of his body... and when the bats came close, he spread them out, dozens of black feathers flying at them and destroying them.

However, he was unprepared for the Shade Claw (as long as Shademan hadn't flown through the feathers), and was forced to the ground again.

(OoC: Feather Storm: creates 2-3 dozen feathers, which home on the nearest targets and fly at them.)

CrossFusion quickly pulls up his shield of Mana, blocking around half of the incoming bullets as CrossFusion falls back to the earth and slices his sword, ready to continue.

CrossFusion: Hmm.. Guess it is time to draw on the power of Virii for a little bit. Now then, my target is some distance away from me, he is probably going to move so Mettaur isn't any good. A combination of CanoDumb and CanoGuard is my best bet. Time to set it off and let it do its work.

CrossFusion Summons a Red CanoGuard which immediatly sends out a homing Cursor to find David.

CrossFusion: "Watch out for that Cursor. You don't want to be in it."

CrossFusion: This is no ordinary CanoGuard, the CanoDumb in it gives it a powerboost and I am controlling it with my subconsious. It won't lose track of David once it starts shooting. Good thing it has a Turret that can move horizontally as well as vertically.

The Immortal ShadeMan grinned, and summons two arms from the ground to try and hold the silver-haired lad down.

"So... a basic virus summon. One with a shield so it can deflect attacks. Not much use for a Breaking type." Vincent-David flew off to avoid the cursor line-up, before he uses the Contain Materia, and attacks with Stone. A large boulder forms overtop the virus, and sinces its stationary and cannot move, it's an easy deletion.

Whenever it works or not, he flies towards CF, and activates the Gunblade Battlechip, equipping a sharp blade at the end of the top shotgun barrel. Getting close, he'll feint a swing from the left then slash at the right then one upward slash, followed by a triple shot from the weapon.

He rolled backwards, avoiding the claws easily, and turned towards David. "Hey, how did you manage to get that NetNavi on the real world?" he asked, before turning back to ShadeMan, waiting for him to move...

"How?" ShadeMan answered, "Two words: Dark Matter. In the world of Boktai, the undead live through a substance called Dark Matter. It is that Dark Matter that grants me a physical form in the real world. Alas I may only be a summon, but I will deal in as much torment and pain as possible before I get deleted."

And with that, the digital Immortal flew towards the young man, ready to slash across his chest with his clawed hands.

"I know what Dark Matter is, batface. I just don't know how HE got you here, since, well, this ISN'T San Miguel or Istrakan, and also... you're pissing me off," he replied, before bending down when the Immortal NetNavi was about to strike him, and kicked him upwards, watching him. "Also... if you think you can deal more pain and torment than Diz, I'm gonna be forced to laugh at you while turning you into a pulp."

CrossFusion: Not so fast...

The boulder breaks upon impact on the Virus's armor. Seemingly unfazed, the Virus locks onto David and starts firing a steady stream of Cannon blasts.

CrossFusion: At trying to casual deletions. They don't always work. Now, time for a meat shield. Mettaur ought to do.

CrossFusion steps back at the last minute, summoning a tower of 3 red Mettaur virii that are instantly deleted upon the attacks.

CrossFusion: "Poor, poor simbattler. Hasn't even seen the limits of reality yet. Compared to some of the recordings I've watched, the summoning of an Immortal NetNavi is a walk in the park. You will NEVER defeat ShadeMan with just those feathers. There are special types of attacks that must be used."

CrossFusion: Like PileDriver P.A. But, it isn't time to start using my own Battlechips yet. I prefer to tap into my inner workings instead anyway.

Damn. I thought using a breaking attack would burst through the shielding of that virus. He must of gotten a Lifeaura around the virus then. Sensing the attacks coming at him, he allowed them to strike him.

Limit Break -- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

"ShadeMan be gone!" ShadeMan smirked before dematerializing into data and vanishing. Vincent-David flew away to gain some distance away form both fighters. He started to glow brightly with energy. He then vanished from view and the entire battlefield was darkened. He had activated the Neo Bahamut Materia.

OOC: Now I dunno if this will work against summoned viruses, but PM me and let me know and I'll change this post.

A large chunk of the ground started to crackle before it was seeminly lifted up, which also included the stationary Canogrd3 virus. The two battlers wern't included in this as they seemed to not be the main targets. It descended higher and higher...

* * *

Now up very high in the sky, near the stratosphere, the clouds parted and Neo Bahamut soon appeared descending down form heaven. It slowly opened its mouth before building up an insane ammount of energy before firing it. The large energy beam only gotten bigger as the raw mass of energy started to crumble and rupture the large earthly platform before it was vaporized, and maybe along with the virus.

* * *

Vincent-David returned form his summoning place, as the large massive chunk of earth that seemed to be missing from the arena was magically filled bakc in place. Was the virus deleted?

((On further scans, David can realize that that particular virus just had lots of hit points.))

CrossFusion: I think it is about time I start using Battlechips. Let's see here, CanoGuard Summon with Multiply Battlechip. Sounds good to me. Hopefully David doesn't know the full extent of Multiply, or he'd automatically know the weakness of this attack. Good thing CanoGuards guard themselves when still searching for an opponent.

CrossFusion: "Hmm... Lost contact with my CanoGuard. Oh well, I have plenty more!"

CrossFusion summons a single Red CanoGuard identicle to the last. Only this time David should notice that it has Battlechip Data. Right away, the CanoGuard's Battlechip Disappears and Shadows of CanoGuard rapidly spread out in a geometric pattern around David. Quite literally 100 Virii are created, all with the same power as the first one CrossFusion summoned. Their Hp values cannot be deciphered, they are apparently masked. All of the Virii send out Cursors towards David, ready to shoot once their Cursors lock onto David.

CrossFusion: Too bad I couldn't have given those things a Recov300 with it. Otherwise this method would force David to whip out a GigaChip class attack.

When ShadeMan disappeared, the lad blinked. "What? Why would he reduce his..." he reasoned, before seeing the effects of the summon. "Oh, shyste... so the guy can summon even a Bahamut? Jeez, is that SP'ing or what?" he nearly screamed, trying to hear his own voice.

Still, he'd wait for now... pulling both arms backwards, he waited to see whether they'd attack him now or not.

"...?" Well, this was interesting, but good enough for him. He allowed ALL the attacks to strike him, which unfortunately for them, has allowed for his Limit Bar to break.

Limit Break -- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

"Bad move..."

Limit Break > Chaos

With a full Limit Break, Vincent-David activated one of the metamorphisis -- Chaos. Energy massed around him as the fires of hell swirled around him, making alot of differental changes to his body and outfit. The red tathered cloak/cape transformed into demonic crimson and black bat wings, the joints clawed, with two longer thick blakc claws around his shoulders over the chest. His hair lightened by two shades, but became wild and spiky. The red headband formed over his left eye, which formed a blue shielding over the now bright yellow demon eyes, and parts of it fused to his hair. The jumpsuit became skin-tight around his muscled chest and body as black bands strapped around his lower arms. Red cutted armor formed over his upper chest, skeletal bones forming around the sides of his waist, and the metal gauntlet took on a demonic form, part of it now missing around the forearm. The clawed fingers became longer and sharper, as does the metal along his boots, sleeker and more sharper. flanked leather spiderwebs flowed from his upper thighs, and silverish white shuriken-styled metal was clamped around his knee bones.

He flew up high, as the image of the full moon shrouded behind him, giving him a sinister look with those faint glowing eyes. "It's show time..."

CrossFusion: ... Scanners indicating sudden spike in power level. This is akin to a desperation move. Me without my Aura, yet. Time to pull out the big guns. Lets see here, this chip, and this one, and this one ought to do.

CrossFusion: "My army is still alive and firing. Those things all have some decent attack power, united they should deal some fair amount of damage to you."

CrossFusion activates three Battlechips. The names quickly appear and disappear as CrossFusion uses them, Aura+, LifeAura, and MobileHolyPanal. A green and yellow Aura surronds CrossFusion and a white panal of defensive energy forms underneath CrossFusion.

CrossFusion: "Try and get through this defensive Aura..."

CrossFusion: Which I think he can.

CrossFusion brings his ShieldofMana forward a braces for an Impact.

CrossFusion: When he starts, jump backwards quickly... some of the impact should be negated by that.

When David became Chaos, the lad felt the need to sweatdrop. "Jeez... is there something you guys just CAN'T do?" he asked, as he concentrated even more energy on his hands.

A few caws escaped, but he didn't do anything yet.

OOC: Now, unlike Vincent's old forms in FFVII, in Dirge of Cerebrus, Vincent has control over his Limit Break forms. Also, the Limit Bar will decreased each turn by two units, and when its empty, David will revert back to his normal form. Also, for a more detailed look on what this Chaos look like, click this link -- http://mokkori60.free.fr/Chaos%20Scan.jpg

Limit Break -- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

"Chaos" swept his large wings in front, shielding him form the continuing firepower, which his wings served as refecting shields, sending each shot back towards the shooter, which in this case are the CanoGrd3s.

He then flew away towards the silver-haired lad, trying to direct the attacks towards him.
