I am having a small problem with the ! block. about 4 months ago I gave the block a new face lift and and had to match the old ! block color with the new one. about 2 hours ago I had tested my hack for any palette problems and to test some stuff and I noticed the red ! block is using the ! blue block color. I looked at LM and it seem's like the palette for the blue ! block willl change color just like the same as the red one. I don't know what the hell had happened over the past 5 months with the hack, but I don't think I can fix this problem on my own can someone look at this screen and tell me whats going on ?
also if I managed to fix this.... 1. Is there anyway I can get the blue block to be hit from underneath and release a fwings for yoshi or a blue shell ? 2. when I hit the red block with a fireball I want it to either to do this: (option 1) disappear in a spuff of smoke or (option 2) when hit by mario give mario a flower or a red shell. |

For the palette problem, did you make sure that you made a seperate [!] block just for the special purpose of using the red [!] colors? That's just what Nintendo did.
The [!] blocks giving items, I don't know how to do that yet. I never would have thought to use the Super Mario 64 style of [!] blocks, very creative, indeed! A suggestion is that you also make the [?] blocks like that, except with the "?" just to keep it the same style. |

Thanks Spikehead for the info! apparently I put a pow block in that position instead of my custom ! block I was wondering why pow blocks had spread everywhere when I activated a switch bock.....
If somebody could answer my 2 questions I posted earlier and tell me if it is or aint possible to let me know. would block tool play a major role in getting it to work ? (edited by MadMikeXP 3 on 05-17-06 02:06 AM) |
