Hi. I'm new here. I'm sort of a high-level dabbler in translation hacking...I've done some work on several different projects, only one of which is actually close to completion, though nobody will probably care about it when it's done.
Anyways. I'm good enough that I've tweaked Klarth's Atlas to my needs, implemented 1-and-a-half VWFs (the second one is still a WIP; you can see it in action in my avatar...sorta) and cracked a compression scheme. I'm no newbie, I just prefer going things alone and I have an evil goblin in command of my attention span who turns off the juice just when things are getting good. Did I mention I'm my own translator? My conversation skills would probably get me laughed at...but then again, the Japanese seem to appreciate gaijin attempts to speak their language. Still, while it still needs some more tweaks, the script I've written for my project is pretty good...maybe a little over-the-top for the source material at times, but it's close enough to the original meaning, if not the spirit (of which there is sadly little  ).
If you want to know more, check out my DevBlog; the main page has nothing in the way of actual content, but I've been updating the DevBlog...well, "sorta-weekly" for the past four months. Amazing how much I was able to do in just the first few weeks...almost disappointing that I haven't finished the damn thing yet. |

Hi, simply a NiGHTS fan. ALthough gradually moving back into Pokemon. And once again, a video game has somehow led me to something new. I was just getting the latest Elite Map after realising I only has 3.6 cause I go to a different site for most of the stuff I use. Umm, darn it, how did the rest of my intro go >.<. Well, fav games played: SonicTh1 SonicTh2 SonicTh3+Knuckles SA1 Pokemon(almost all, never played GSC thanks to it being to expensive and only allowing a week long rental) Games Never played but somehow taught myself about them and love them: NiGHTS INTO DREAMS Blaze rangers(I think thats what it is called) Yeah, I kinda believe in the fact that something somehow leads someone to some place. Guess this time it was Pokemon and ROM hacking.And the fact I thought I needed to register to go around the sight before noticing the buttons, which are way to small in my opinion. ...My introduction aren't usually this long, must be from trying to write out a Tom and Jerry type domino effect thing and RP'ing over IM earlier to day. Oh yeah, I don't have pokemon base sprites, but I'll work on some once I finish this: Normal ~~~~~

| Hi, I'm Tecna
I was born on the 16th December; and my fairy sign is Tritoh. I come from Zenith, the planet where magic springs of technology! I like science, and my spare time I enjoy inventing and creating new things. I also like using my computer and I love playing videogames! I'm also a ROM hacker which I could hack almost all the consoles except Sega, Namco or such activity. I'm also very good at SMW hacking as well. I like to play sports and just to be active. You can probably see that from hi-tech, minimalist look. Of course you will also have guessed that I'm the orderly and rational type. I always use logic to solve problems. This makes me feel sure of myself. Yes, I know I can seem cold or aloof, but I'm really unselfish and affectionate with my friends. This is my second forum and I do heard of Acmlm's Board. I've watching this forum of how things turned out. I really like to enjoy helping people in this entire community and become the best member of this board. |
