Yeah... you probably need to work on that 9.

I just played through the demo - it's actually not bad. There were some spots that I felt were kinda cheap such as the first pipe you can go up in the second level that can put you right into an enemy, with no warning, and a few jumps that are awkwardly placed so that you end up falling in a hole for no good reason.

Overall, however, it was pretty good. I felt like I was playing 'new' levels, instead of 'edited' levels, if that makes sense to you. Keep it up - just try to avoid putting in 'cheap' stuff, and try to work around things that are making the game glitch up if you can.

I didn't like the area with piranha plants coming out of blocks. And what's with the thwomps on a moving belt? I gave up at Boomboom.

I made those plants come out of the ground to trick you if you wanna get through the LVL.

TIP on level 2. Theres a 1-up block beetween the note blocks.
and the 2nd flat area, if you have a feather, you can fly over the plant area.

I passed my 1st world. Moving on to W2. DEMO released later.

Your hack was wonderful. I can't wait until you release your next Demo, and possibly the full game edit. A little work needs to be on your '9' , because it seems to be missing something...

AND THE GAME CRASHES. I moved the pointers too. but still. CRASHED.

Well I don't really have much new to add, although I do agree with pretty much everything that's been said. Anyway, I did enjoy your hack, it had a very original feel to it.

Just a few things though; you tend to overuse certain objects/sprites in small areas. And also, you should work on brightening up your overworld a bit, like add a few more trees/flowers etc.

Meh!
Oh well, I'll just deal with it then. Get the hack done soon! I just dled an NES emu and the SMB3 Rom for it, since I found a bunch of SMB3-NES hacks, but none for other ver (AllStars/SMB4:Adv).

Rararar! Pac-Man, I hate you .

See this is a good example of a Number 9, used for this PocketNes splashscreen.

I rather like the Thwomps on the conveyor belt, myself. I got past it without getting hit on my first try, so I'd say it wasn't too hard.

The colors on the hill at the end of 1-3 were weird... dark blue spots with light blue sky for the most part. I think it's a case of you using the underwater hill, where you should have used the regular above ground hill instead. If that doesn't fix it, I'd recommend changing the hill to a regular set of stairs.

The C-shaped jump at the very end of 1-3 is very cheap. Those jumps are difficult enough, but putting the super low ceiling increases the difficulty of the jump tenfold, especially since there seems to be no super leaf in the level to make it easier. I'd recommend making the "ceiling" there higher, or just removing the jump all together.

The ? ball at the end of the fortress is glitched, for some reason.

Might wind up fun. We'll see where this goes.

Did anyone else notice that his overworld, the "new map" , and the original overworld, are nearly the same with only the top-right corner being different?
