| (Likely the persons asking things like "how do i get the yellow coins in random hack #456356" won't read this thread anyway, but in these cases, there will at least be something to refer to when closing the thread.)
If you have a question relating to a present hack, there is generally the option of asking the author via PM or e-mail, given he is on this board (and that is mostly the case). If this option, for whatever reason, does NOT exist or the author refuses to give you hints, you should either (a) cope with it / try to figure yourself as the author intends you to or (b) post the question in here. Posting a new thread about your issue is NOT an option. I was initially thinking of making this a sticky in ROM hacking, making it refer to all hacks, but thought it'd be better to try in here first. A thread like this in ROM hacking would only guarantee the ones who intend to post their threads in SMW hacking would not pay attention to it. In case this works well, there still is the option of moving this thread to ROM hacking or creating a similar one there. -- blackhole89. |

Spoiler: From the start of the level that has them (Twilight Galleon 2, iirc), run down the ship. You have to run at the start, since there's not enough room to build momentum after the first part. Once you get to the third Fire Brother, you need to jump over it onto the chuck behind it at the right angle to bounce up and to the left just a little bit and hit the invisible pink note block. From there, it's a fairly simple process to climb up the mast and jump onto the note block, warping you up to an area using the same tileset as Devil's Sky Fortress. The ending takes you to the secret exit, but there's a pipe you can take about halfway through (it's the one surrounded by boos) that takes you to the area with the yellow coins. You can leap up through the platform after you get them and continue the level, or go back through the pipe and finish get to the secret exit. | Find the tertiary exit out of Bowser's Caste and a new level will appear in the centre of Star Road. Find your way out of that level and the level icon will transform into a star that can take you to Boo's World.
This video is a speed run of DWTLC, where the player finds all 120 exits. So next time you've got 2 hours on your hands, open Snes9x (must be v1.43 improvement 7), open DWTLC, run that video, sit back and be amazed. |

| If you want to make a big leap off a slope, hold down on the control pad and hold the jump button at the right moment. Don't touch the control pad while holding the button.

| ok I really need help. I am stuck on marios econd reality on a level called Nightmare Island. i cant find the key or the keyhole/secret exit and when I beat the level I cant go on to the next one because of this (since I ebat it the regular way). Also the level before this one I also have a problem with, its called Dragon's treasure. I beat it the regular way but cant figuare out how to launch myself to where they keyhole/secret exit is. | |||

| About "Dragon's Treasure": As you have probably found out, both the key and the keyhole are at the very beginning from the level, but you need to go the way through the level to come up to the key. If you have the key go to the left and fall down, and you are at the level's starting point again. From now on, you need the cape to just fly up to the hole.
About "Nightmare Island": Make sure you have Yoshi, you can get him in "Dragon's Treasure". Shortly before the level's end a blue koopa appears. Eat it and fly under the goal to the right and there is the secret exit. (edited by FPI on 05-26-06 02:08 PM) |

Spoiler: There's an undocumented secret exit in Tallrock Heights in the auto-scroll part. Find the key in an invisible block somewhere along the way, near the red jumping enemy, then bring it to the monty mole hole right before the normal exit. Bam. (edited by Tatrion on 05-29-06 05:57 PM) |
