Ha ha, yeah. I remember being linked to this back in March. The video maker seems to think, incorrectly, that MJ writes his own music... As I recall, the person who does is even listed in the credits of the game.

Man, that's crazy. This is the first time I've seen it. The one that really freaked me out was the Ice Cap + Who. Those two sounded like....excactly the same.

I couldn't find the resemblance between Stranger in Moscow + credits though

"Two of the chords played were exactly the same"? That seems rather... flaky at best. Sorry, but sharing a chord progression (no matter how many times one particular artist may use it) does not make it the same. And that whole progression from Icecap doesn't look nearly as similar as it seems to... Wow. I see what my music theory teacher was talking about pop music using simple progressions. Gm-Cm7-Gm-Cm7?

A few of those things do seem kinda similar... but only in parts. And I seem to recall that the music was changed in the PC version to try to make it fit in MIDI soundfonts, which sadly enough did not include the "GO GO GO" from Launch Base, among other things.

Ehh... It's mildly interesting, but... I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. (Besides, Ice Cap has awesome music one way or the other.)

Well, SNN, if you listen really carefully to the background part of the song Stranger In Moscow, and hear the little beat in the background, it is really much the same as the credits. Also, during the chorus of the song, you hear a chord played when MJ says "..DOES.." when he says How Does It Feel. This chord is also played in the same spot during the Sonic Credits...I dont know, I've looked into it already, and it seems that it might just all be coincidence...Who knows...

It is confirmed that Michael's producers worked on the Sonic 3 sountrack. It doesn't seem far-fetched that they re-used some material.

Well, and it's common for composers to use the same "tune" through their songs. I know for sure that Frank Klepacki (The composer for the CnC games music) tend to go back to a common theme alot.

I'm not for the music in the Sonic series, but I do like the Icecap zone song.

Lemmie guess, the Miniboss music?
That track consists of "Come on!" and "Whoo!". I thought they just wanted to imitate Michael Jackson. The Sonic and Knuckles version beats this one.
