I'm working on a project for Super Mario Bros. 3 and apparently I need help with it.
I want to make an Icy Hilly level like JaSp did with his hack, how do you do that? It's going to be for World 1-2 (The longer version of it will be made for a later world.)
This is the project I want to get done before you try all of World 1's levels.

I'm not familiar with that hack, but I'm guessing what you want is the hilly level to be white (seem like snow) and perhaps have a slippery characteristic? The former would simply be a palette issue, while the latter would be ASM of some sort, though I'm not sure what/where or how much.

I already made the palette for it, now I just need the whole level to have a slippery characteristic but I need some more info on that.
