I hate generic links to google. They don't help anyone in any way, they're just a (played out) way to be a wiseass.

I mean people say that you can find out anything by googling or by other independent research -- but then what's the point of having a messageboard where you can ask questions? The whole idea behind going to a message board is to get info from other people.

If someone here actually knew of an editor or had a recommendation of one editor over the other, they could reply with actual helpful information just as easily as they could with the wiseass "ZOMG USE GOOGLE" reply. And if they can get the information that way from someone that already has it... why should they have to do the research on their own? Isn't a messageboard just another reference? What makes google a better place to get information than this message board?

To sum up:
1) Generic "USE GOOGLE" posts are stupid.
2) Asking questions is the whole point of an interactive message board
3) Sticky topics are useless because nobody reads them
4) If you don't have a [real] answer for him, you don't have to answer. No harm no foul.
5) Having this topic on the board (even if it goes unanswered) does not harm or even inconvienience you or anyone else.

6) The sticky topic is an unorganized mess with no real listing of editors.
7) Not every editor in existance is in the sticky topic.
8) An editor might be in progress or available on a website no one here visits.
9) People love to be assholes on the internet where there is no fear of repercussions.

No, it's not. That's one of those names that people make up just to try to make you feel dumb.

And, unfortunately enough, Celice is right with that answer... Even if the stuff is REALLY tedious to copy.

N64 scares most people away because it's way over their heads. Yeah, the whole 3D aspect isn't integrated with VB, so good luck finding many editors for 3D games.

The only level editors for N64 games that I know of are for Super Mario 64 and F-Zero X; both of which are unavailable publically until June 21, 2006.
