So, I'm new here. I'm not a rom hacker myself but I love reading up on their development and release.

Aside from that, I don't have much patience in programming either; I have a few game ideas that I have had brewing on my drive for the past couple of years. Stuff that I've added to and gotten rid of. Some stuff that I've never been able to get back (damn you, hard drive crash!) All in all, the most I've gotten into any sort of game programming is with Multimedia Fusion/The Games Factory/Klik N Play. Oh, and trying to mess around with DarkBasic.

I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. The first system I came in contact with was the old Atari. From then, I've owned an NES, an SNES, a PSone, Dreamcast, Gamecube and PS2 along with a plethora of handhelds (several Tiger handhelds come and gone, Gameboy revisions and a PSP with 1.5 firmware.)

I also tool around with my computer often. It's practically a frankenstein. Albeit a slightly aged frankenstein. Unfortunately, my retail job doesn't earn me enough to upgrade when I'd like to. But at least it's something that I (partially) enjoy.

Well, that's all I could think up of, really. There's so much more to say, but my thought are like a runaway train.

If you don't catch it in time, you may end up going nowhere.

This was a pretty good opening to this board. Better than all those other newbie posts that are like, "I'm new so hi." Well, I'd like to welcome you to the board. I hope you enjoy your stay and post a lot.
