Or simply put you don't have it before going in that's what I was trying to say.

Yep and I just found it a few minites after I posted I just forgot to get back on and mention it. But it doesn't help much. I still can't get to much further no matter how fast I go and I can't make it to the recharge room. I tried going through that ball area that looks suspiciosly like the same one in the Magmor Caverns from Metroid Prime so I'm guess there's an Energy tank at the end. but I can't time the bomb jumps without going overboard on the saveslots and then I still don't have enough energy.

EDIT --- Ok ignore what I said about not having enogh energy I compleatly missed those red bug things that I can refil on.

Edit2

I never thought I could be so happy as to finally get the Ice Beam...
Then I got the Varia Suit...
I swear my neibors could hear me chearing when I finally got the darn thing...
Drewseph...Quite simply...This...Hack...Is...GODLY!!!
This- This is amazing! Words can't describe it.
You're doing all this dening every rom hacking rule I know of.
You've changes damage, you've expanded relentlessly, you've moved everything around, you've changed the Physics! Hell why not hold back You've changed EVERYTHING!!!
This is better than anything Nintendo has pulled out. You could mix Metroid 1, 2, Super, Fusion, and Zero Mission and I'd still say this hack would be better.
You've not only of gotten rid of the "To-Do List" that the modern Metroid's have had but have so convniently hid things you'll never think to look there. You wierded out many people by having no reward for beating Karid while at the same time I found the Varia Suit by ACCIDENT.
Hell why not just out and say it. This hackhas gone far beyond the reaches of a Super Metroid hack. No. This could easily be known as Metroid Five. The only thing that could say that this isn't a Nintendo sequel is that it's to good for that.
You have out did yourself Drewseph. My compliments. This is amazing.

I have just beaten the Torizo after grabbing the bombs. I have no missiles left and 7 health. How do I get back out of the Acid room?

Nevermind I found it! Had to use my new acquisition.

Yay I'm stuck again, I think I might have done something wrong, I'm at a part where I need the grappling beam to get anywhere, but I don't have the grappling beam.

^Question1: Do you know how to walljump in the original Super Metroid?

If not, I suggest you go back and play that. if so....

Question2: Do you have the walljump boots?

If not, go get them b/c you can't wall jump at all without them. If so....

Question3: Have you considered that the surfaces you're trying to wall jump on are not compatible with wall jumping? Smooth metal pipes, certain types of terrain, etc have been redesigned not to work with this move.

Wall jumping in the original was easy to do yes i could do it. I have the wall jump boots. It's just chances of me wall jumping twice in this game are 1/10

I'd call that gameplay design mistakes.

just so you know, the Tube after kraid is your clue of where you need to go, but you need powerbombs, so yuo go through the grey door opened by kraid.

Hey, wait a second!
After reading your last post, you've made me want to go back and continue this game!

I was just about to post that I've given up for a while. I had lost interest on these overly-hard things-to-do.
The way to get those first Power Bombs was mean. I mean REALLY mean.
I thought I entered that big, long room before I was supposed to, and after recieving the Super Missile expansion, I figured it be best to leave that area.
After getting back past the acid, and realising that there was nothing else to do there, there was no way to replenish my health, so I couldn't return to that room where I was supposed to find the hidden tile that needed to be shot with a Super Missile. I didn't have any energy left do go back through that acid!

If ever you edit this hack for small bugs, I suggest making a very small room with no real purpose just to make the enemies respawn in the room I got stuck in.

Now then! If breaking that glass tube requires anything else besides Power Bombs (such as a new suit or something), then I'm really giving up for a while.
Way hard this game is!

I don't know why people are complaining about wall jumping.. To me, it is is easier to preform than it was in the original! Pfft, it didn't take me very long to catch onto it at all, but then.. I actually use a controller. I wouldn't ever suggest anyone to play this hack (or any SNES game actually) with a keyboard..

Ah well, I'm having a blast with this so far!

I'm using a microsoft sidewinder. Ain't help... and no way is it easier than the original. The original gave you a good 0.5 seconds to wall jump this gives yoou like 0.05 of a second.

Wall jumping is not as easy or easier to do than in the original game.

The speedrunners and experts will naturally have no problem and think that it is easy, but others will just not be able to do it well or at all. This is the only reason why I have completely given up on an otherwise great hack.

I'm no speed runner, or anyone special, and yet I find it ridiculously simple to pull off. Sure, I miss once and awhile, but that isn't often.. The system is fine, those of you having a problem with it are out of luck I suppose though, but I don't know what to tell you, it doesn't pose me the least bit of difficulty.. Shouldn't take you more than a couple of tries to do it when you first get the upgrade - if it takes more than that, then you might be doing it wrong.

Now bomb jumping, that is more of a pain to do now, but it is never required to do a lot of anyway, which is specifically stated in the readme, so that doesn't even matter to me.

Hi, I just registered to say that your hack is the most awesome hack I have ever seen. It is actually better than the original in my honest opinion.
Three cheers for Drewseph!

Now onto buisness. I'm stuck at the same place as Arthus. No grapple beam. No way to wall-jump all the way back (two areas back you need.. yup, grapple beam).

I just want to know, if I've managed to stumble myself into a dead end, because I was a moron and didn't use any save stations for quite a while. I would rather not have to redo half an hour of intense running and jumping and getting lucky, although I will if I find out there's no other way.

I will worship the ground you walk on for an answer. Heck, I might do it anyways.

(Edit) You are a very evil person Drewseph. And for that I love you. Figured it out.

I'm not sure what to do after getting the bombs. I see a lot of Green doors so I assume the super missile is the next required item. There is also a flashing door in Brinstar that is now unlocked with an Energy Tank and a Green door behind it. Any hints on where to go/look next would be much appreciated.

I'm stuck, too. I'm at the part where you go through all the tubes (they look like those things that spit out enemies) and theres a bunch of spikes and those little orange things that eat you. I found the energy tank in the room next to it, and I see an item ball in one of the smaller chambers. So far, I have Missles, Super Missles, Bombs, Wall-jump Boots, and the Charge Beam. Any help?
