it would help if you told me what morphball maze that was, since I can't magically go and fix everything =P

If I remember correctly, one of them is the big one before Crocomire that requires IBJ.

was it the maze over a large lava pit?

if so then you're not mean to unmorph in the open area.

I finally got around to setting this up and playing it. I only had ZSNES 1.42 and a PAL ROM before. This hack is GREAT! The walljump takes some getting used to, but once you've got it down I think it's easier than the original physics.
I'd also like to mention that this DOES work in the more recent ZSNES WIPs.
Great work!

Q : AH! IT BURNS!

A : Keep running.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THIS FREAKING MEANS SOMETHING FOLKS!
-shakes his head- Once Kraid is sinking to his death, go to Norfair. You need at least 399 health.
RUN.
Your brain can do the rest. I quit. -shakes his head-
To get the ice beam you need to go through the hell run (right from the elevator when entering Norfair) after you've beaten kraid.
Good luck... Oh, and on the note of Power Bombs, how in the world did you get them before getting Ice Beam? Did you somehow get Varia before Ice Beam? Wait, I think you said you did... Anyways, if you did, how did you do it?
Edit: Well, that's it. I need no more help. I am finally at Tourian. Man, it took me a while to get there! Thanks for all the help you guys gave me! Though, I did find most (if not all) of the Chozo Guardians on my own, except those hints given in previous posts before I started asking for help here... Again, thanks for the help!
Well, I did the hell run, looking for the varia. I bombed everywhere in the shaft near the elevator. The only place I can see would need an infinite bomb jump. There's another place around where the killer plants and heavy spikes are, i can't quite jump high enough, can't walljump, and there's nothing to freeze. a bomb jump might work here too.
Where's the varia?
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. pika's post on page 46 did it. Tricky.
You know what's wierd? I haven't beaten Tourian yet, but I have this strong feeling where they are. Would you like me to tell you my suspicions? (If so, I'll be sure to put them in a Spoiler tag.)
Drewseph: I just remembered one bug I forgot to mention before: In Crocomire's room, on the far right, the map square shows a dot indicating the presence of an item, but no such item seems to exist in that area. (Had 100.6% as I mentioned, and didn't have to collect anything from there, and also checked that whole square with X-ray, power bombs, and plain bombs.)
Also, one other small thing I wondered about: why such a long recovery time after Super Missiles? Did you specifically want to get rid of the Kraid Quick-Kill glitch, or did you want to slow down the player's salvos to avoid using up the smaller supply too fast, or did you just want to make things a bit harder?
100.6 was fixed, it was a bug in a powerbomb blockade before a powerbomb, counting as an item, when it shouldn't have. And that dot is no glitch, in SM when you beat crocomire there is a dot on the map where he dies.
Balance, missiles are needed more, so you can shoot them faster, supers to lots mroe damage, so I increased their cool down
Edit: ...Oh... Oh my... I FINALLY BEAT THIS HACK! Time: 12:47 (I think...) I didn't get the animals, seeing as I only had about 7 minutes left until the place went boom. Still, I'm done with this hack, and it's about time. Now I can concentrate on other things, since this was keeping me away from the stuff. But hey, that's what happens when you play something so good. Seriously, well done on this hack! I hope you make a sequel, but I doubt that'll happen. Anyways... It was superhard getting out of Tourian. I thought you'd have to go back through Maridia to get out, but I guess I was wrong. I give this hack... 10/10! Mwahaha.
Edit2: Oh yeah, forgot something that's shown after the credits:
My rate for collecting items is... 60.1%. Lame. Oh well. My only objective was to beat the hack. Does this mean I'm a Super Metroid master now? (Just kidding. )
I don't know if anyone mentiond this but there is a way to get the hack to work under zsnes. Just keep the patch seperate and use the auto patch to do it.
Could one do it in under 1 hour? I'm sure no one could, but I know one thing: A Metroid master could beat all the Metroid games in under 2 hours. I wish I could get within 3 hours, but I can't. I usually go the wrong way, or get stuck trying to beat an enemy or touching walls.
