Yes it is. Don't try and make a second bridge and just look around after you cross the first bridge. The answer is right in front of you, it's not hidden at all. You never have to touch any acid, or even risk touching any acid

The Norfair part was TERRIFIC. That was like so much fun for me. That's my favorite part in the hack so far =D

Just a quick yes or no answer please.

Are there any items I'm not finding in the rooms after you kill Kraid?
I've bombed almost everywhere in the following rooms, but can't find anything!
Ball-Jump, a new beam, even a Missile Expansion would've made me feel more sense of accomplishment.

So, is there anything there?

I was expecting the same thing when i got hit with that save point , the answer lies somewhere else.

PS. I also love the norfair part, it was a very good idea.

EDIT

Apparently I just don't know how to jump out of sand pits. I guess if you hold up (or as I'm doing now, diagonal-up) it helps get you out once you reach the surface. But it's still quite a chore to dig yourself out if you sunk deep.

I still say sand pits should be easier to get out of. This is ridiculous.

OK, I am now officially lost, I've explored all I can of Norfair without the damn Varia suit, I got the Ice Beam and went back to the health room. I'll show you my Norfair map, and if anyone can, show me the general direction of which the varia suit is located. I've spent too long (3 and a half hours) running through norfair.

Pink Doors - 25 Missiles or 5 Super Missiles to unlock.
Cool stuff!

The run for the Ice Beam was waaay too unforgiving!
If people didn't discover that energy tank where you have to go into the spikes, then there'd be no way that they could've gotten it.
Healing stops along the way? Man! Tough stuff!

I'm stuck in South-Western Norfair.
There's a grey door that won't light up, and I can see some sort of circle morph ball course that I can't get to.
Everywhere I go, I need Super Bombs, but I don't have 'em yet.

I even got an extra Super Missile before I should have. (Waayyy down-left)
To get it, you're supposed to have Super-Bombs to clear a path, but I bomb jumped in the acid up to the door. Wasn't too hard.

I was expecting something more than just a Super Missile for such a long room, but meh. I guess it should be an easy expansion with the help of Super Bombs.

So anyway... Anyone have a clue on how to help me?

The wall jumping, while a bit less lenient than in Super Metroid, is only slightly more difficult than in the more recent games, and seems pretty close to them in general. Of course, I suppose the complaint may have to do with the loss of the 1-wall-scaling thing, but... that's a bit too easy to exploit, anyway. Makes sense for him to have changed it.

I can one-wall scale...

It's not that hard. It does take a little while though.

Alright, I'm still stuck right after the 2nd missile upgrade. It seems the only way out is the way I came from, but I'd need to wall-jump to get back there. Do you need a special item to wall-jump or am I just doing it wrong?
By the way, great hack, it looks and plays just like an official sequel!

The point is that it's nerfed to the point where it's typically not worth the effort. I've managed to do a bit of it, but not enough to help that much... Typically about 4-5 pixels per jump. Comparing that to how it was in the regular Super Metroid... yeah.

Alright, I experimented some more this morning while my mind was fresh and figured it out. That wasn't exactly self explanitory though, it was more "this doesn't look right, or possible, so it must be something else.." It just turned out I was incorrect, and what looked impossible was really quite simple once I tried a few times. (Yes, only a few.)

It was blatently in front of me though, I realize, I just didn't think I could make use of it.*shrugs* I applaud the author for pulling that room off so well in any case! I'm quite impressed.

Ok I'm officially stuck.

I've got the bombs (neat trick to get then btw) and super missiles. And I've just beat Karid and I'm ready to go into Norfair......One problem.

From what I understand you have to run for your life through Norfair cause the Varia Suit is much further through Norfair or at the end. Bu I only have two Energy Tanks. So from the elevator I can only A) Go to the left and barely make it to the map room or B) go to the right and barely make it through the ball room only to die in the next room.

Normally when faced with this problem I'd just go back a few worlds and look for some Energy Tanks. BUT!!! Apparently I cannot even do that because of the Rippers that obviosly need Ice Beam to get up to which is probly deeper in Norfair.

So seriosly some help would be appreciated.

You need 3 E-tanks. The third is accessable from where you are, just gotta look around.

Whenever you're confined to a small area like that... whatever you need to get out of that area is in the area you're stuck in. You'll find that that will occur quite a few times as you search for different items.

You guys have the ice beam before going to norfair, but how did you get the ice beam? Do you get it in norfair? I still don't have power bombs yet. I guess I have no choice to run in norfair without the varia suit.
