Hey, found a bug, I'm using the headered version, 1.7

Short and quick description, Ridley is stuck. :D

Far easier than... say... him actually fighting.

I'd already reported that one, but yeah. I wouldn't complain. Ridley was totally asking for it. The bastard hangs out in a room only 5/1 his size. Damn fuggin' moronic lizard bitch.

Can't get out anywhere...need the high jump, the gravity suit, the speed booster, and the Grappling beam to accomplish anything....Any hints on finding the high jump and the grappling beam?

The grappling beam is in the far right part of Norfair (go to the left first, and circle around to the far far right).

After that, the high jump boots are a place you've already been (seriously, you'll kick yourself), and the gravity suit is found around an extremely large body of water (you'll know it when you finally get there).

Yeah, see, everywhere I go in Left Norfair I need the Grapling Beam, Gravity Suit, or Speed boost. So, how exactly do I get from left norfair to right norfair?

I already 'sploded the tube, and ent exploring. Still couldn't find a path that didn't require the grapling beam, and I can't get outta there without the High Jump or the Grav suit. Thank Hell for Save States/

well, You're the man who had the plan to make the hack to take us back to a time when metroid games still owned and required skills to be honed. I'll keep trying. Thanks again for the godly hack drew.

On my most recent playthrough, I've gotta say Draygon was just plain unfair. The only place to fill up before was byond that hellish jump through the quicksand, there's quicksand in the room, and the cheap method kills Samus first

Still, it's a great hack

OK, Stuck again. I now have the grapple beam and speed booster, Am I now supposed to find the high-jump boots next? And if so, where are they? For the sake of the galactic federation, where are they!?

It's in Brinstar, in the upper middle-ish area. When you find some hoppers that just won't go away, you are on the right track.

Thank you Leno jr.! I was looking all over Norfair, and finding nothing. You saved me a lot of wasted effort and time.

I used to post here a long time ago until somehow my account got deleated. I just got a new one.

Anywho... I swore I would get through this damn game without any help. Fat load a good that promise was.

I've got three guardians in Crateria, three in Brinstar, three in Maridia and three in Norfair, and it tells me I still have one leftto deactivate.
Either something's wrong with my ROM, or one of the areas has four guardians. Which one is it?

EDIT:

SPOILERS

I got confused by the room in Norfair where there were two statues in the same room with one hidden. I ended up thinking I got it when I didn't.

LOL< well I'm glad you were able to figure it out. The map shows where they are if you explored the same screen as one, but does not say if you activated or deactivated them

Alright, What room is the High Jump in? I've got a huge area I can explore now, but I just can't find those damned boots...I thought it was that thing between Crateria and Meridia, and that I could reach it by using a speed-Boost jump...but there's a platform in teh way that prevents that. So, where are the high-jump boots? and the ledge grip?

*Shakes head* You have got to be kidding me... I don't mean to be rude but this is rediculus. People have posted questions on how to get items here when the answer has already been posted. But thats almost understandable. This thread is huge people don't want to search through it.

But this...

Pyro...Scroll up a little... The qustion was just asked and answered by Drake about six posts ago. On the same page you posted on...

Sorry if I come ot as being a little mean but questions like this have been annoying me through this thread.

Also there is no "ledge grip" That was in Zero Mission only. Cool as it would have been Drewseph couldn't put it in.

Lastly BOBTHEVILA. Personally I don't think its worth stickying this thread. Besides the fact that it's only for threads the admins deem inprtant this thread has stayed never grown quiet enough to even slightly die out.

OK, I got the high jump boots, but am stuck again. I thought the next place to go was in eastern Crateria, but I cant go farther there yet. I have explored every area I can get to on the map, and cant find my way into true meridia. Any hints? or outright answers?
