Meh. I wanted to find it myself, but I'm having trouble. I have all of the statues activated except for one in Norfair. I know it's not Sector 3 (under lava near the beginning of Ridley's lair,) but I'm not sure which of the other two it is. It's not the one you need the wave beam to get.

Any help guys?

I forgot the one on the far right -- it was actually on my map, but I didn't bomb the appropriate area:

Look at your Norfair map and find the rightmost energy/missile refill -- it should be in the vicinity of the Screw Attack. In map squares, go 3 down and all the way left (to the wall). You should find yourself in a room with a power bomb powerup...bomb away, and the statue will reveal itself.

If you have that one, the the other one is far to the left -- powerbomb bridges with lava beneath.

Hope this helps, and good luck in Tourian!

Thanks, it was the Sector 1 statue under the lava. Even with your hint I still had a hell of a time finding it.

...

!!!$^&(^%& They won't let go! Omg it hurts and stings!
Am I missing a way to shake the metroids off?

Everyone keeps saying "I have X statues ACTIVATED"

the message the guardians give is clearly DEACTIVATED, =P

As for Griff

Charge beam is in brinstar in plain site to the left in the big pink room right before spore spawn. there is also a super missile door there, if you missed it, it your fault =P but you can still run, and mid air morph into the hole

...OH HELL.

Well. That's okay. I wanted to chart where I found stuff anyways. No time like the present... -tear-

Anyhow, um, Drew. I want to commend you. As hard as this is, I am loving it. Big time. Every bit is awesome, and the fact that I missed something vital actually makes me like it a little bit more.

Since the power bomb method to kill them no longer works, you can only do what was used from the original game. Bomb and pray. If you managed to get four of them attached to you (happened to me about 9 times now) watch your life drain to nothing in about 45 seconds. And to bomb and pray, do not sit still, as that is pointless.

Four... Met...wha...

-cries ahead of time- And man, I didn't realize that needed super bombs to get that super bomb near the two giant Hoppers. Damn me. Damn me dirty apes.

...Okay. Going through Hell Run again. I was a pixel. Like. I was in the door, and my health got to zero.

I... urgh.

For those of you having trouble getting the Metroids off of you:

Jump up and morph into a ball mid-leap. As you ascend, lay a bomb. Time it so that you pass through the bomb's explosion on the way down. The metroid(s) will fly up and off of you for a split second. Use that time to unmorph, point your gun upwards (hold L+R for this, hitting the up arrow won't be fast enough), and shoot!

Yeah, that works... but DAMN those things are mean. The uber metroids inPrime weren't half as scary.

I think they're a little bit too hard with the respawn rate being so fast. The fun level of the hack went down to nil when I hit Tourian. Still, I'll soldier on and see how my collection percent was.

That's not me hating on the hack, Drew. I've really enjoyed it.

as I said, Metroid in Prime Sucked and were TOO easy, Metroid in m1 were scary and deadly..... I simply made them threatening again.

Drew, I love Hell Run, and I gotta ask. Where did you get the idea?

I'm not familiar with it, but okay. So, is that the official name of it, then? Hell Run?

Hells Run is my hacks name, people just started dubbing it that.

Varialess Magmoor run reffers to Metroid Prime

Alright, I've been exploring Norfair, quite a bit, and I've determined the wave beam can be nowhere but here.

Towards the right, and all.
The part that I don't have explored, the big room.
Please, god, please tell me that's not it.

That's the only part you got right.

No, that's not the Wave Beam.

For Wave Beamage, you need to do some backtracking, and you must have the speed booster. If you don't have it, then no Wave Beam.

Yeah, you don't need to come back to that big room until you've been to Maridia.

I figured as much, space boots, or whatever.

Anyhow, Backtrack to a place that need speed boosts.... :/... I've been playing / watching Pirates of the Carribean two now, for 3 hours, and can't really find anything.

Edit: I got the wave beam! . Damn Drewseph, you put it in the ONE place I was trying to avoid, not to look around in, by the Brinstar exit. Something in my mind said, it can't be there. Just don't look.

Looking for whatever I need to do next.... Oi. Lost caverns, where art thou.
