I am glad you enjoyed the hack, its so funny how people ask me that they are stuck, andthe answer is always right in front of them, btw, for the ledge that Shane is stuck at, I have lowered it for the final release version. But the famous U room, no one sees the very much standing out path for you to take =)

Tourian IS supposed to be deadly, but its easy to get past without saves, you just need to know how to get metroid off easily, using the springball and laying bombs at the right time. Metroids are feared by the federation, so I needed to give them a reason to be feared, they were too sluggish before.

The speedrun you want can be found here http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/forum/viewtopic.php?p=81719#81719

glad you had fun =)

How do I IBJ? I've been trying for an hour or so and with the bring ball i can only get 4 or 5 tiles above the spring ball peak.

All the timing I had has now been diminished.

you can't ibj from a springball jump, only from the ground.

Bomb-1: Place
Bomb-2: Just before bomb 1 goes off
Bomb-3: Fall about a morphball in height from the peak of the jump
Bombs-4-inf: At the very peak of every jump after (the instant samus is at a standstill in the air)

Drewseph: This hack rocks! I love all the changes that's been done on it and I also love the challenge. This hack stimulates my mind, I love the quality, this hack shows the work that's been put for 2 years. This hack is too good to pass up, I'm gonna make my business to finish it. I'm planning to dust off my Sega Dreamcast so I can burn some Snes ROMS along with your hack, but I'm gonna play this hack just to experience on my T.V. with my surround sound stereo. I give you props on this hack. Thanks for making such a kickass Super Metroid hack.

Drew...
That's why I put the j/k... I don't know any Japanese going by the name Drew, I was just saying they're the ones usually making the insanely hard games, and I think you have them beat... big time...

Ok, I managed to learn that, but you cant do it when your going slightly left or right because you dont land on anything for the second bomb to go off.

Feared nothing I felt like a pizza in a Weight-Wathchers convention.
I have never had more of a "Run for your life" feeling in a Metroid game...Hell in any game.

Also thinking back I decided to try playing through again to find some more items and I just realized something. How come you didn't use the other 2 unused enemies? I heard somewhere that there's supposed to be 3 in total.
1 --- Those reflecto things you put in Norfair
2 --- Baby Crocomire?
3 --- Some enemy that expands when you hit it ntill it explodes.

I was hoping to see the last two.

Also (don't take this the wrong way cause I haven't been everywhere) Why didn't you use all the enemys like that rolly...thing that was right before Spring Ball in Super Metroid or those green...ball...red-tentecle things that we're in the original Maridia.

The hack is still great and one of the few that makes me want to play it again. I was just hoping the unused/rarely used enemy would get more of a spotlight.

its just that some enemies didn't fit in certain rooms, thats all. or my layout didn't call for any puzzels requiring the shaktool to break walls, wtc.

Somebody else wanted to know about the Diagonal Shinespark jump you do in Brinstar; that's included as well.

Mockball/Shinespark:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5F1Z341R

I'm at a point where i just gained access to the huge water area in crateria. The area is a huge pain in the ass to explore without the gravity suit. Can anyone let me know if i'm going the right way to proceed with the game? I'm looking for the lost caverns & gravity suit.

If you find a tall room with a save point and Kung Fu Pirates at the bottom, you're on the right track. If your in a room with Kung Fu Pirates and two wall-jump surfaces, you only a few screens away from the Lost Caverns.

OMG!!! It took me forever to figure out that you CAN boost horizontally into a slope and recover your Speed Booster!! Just like in Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission! I thought you couldn't do that in this hack....So that's how u get the friggin' Spazer.

You NEVER have to spark Charge in order to get any Suit Upgrades, so if you found yourself making some crazy moved to get an item, you did it the hard way

Ok, I'm officially stuck. I'm in Maridia and have yet to get any main items there. Seeing there are the boost blocks in the reactor-thingy's; I can't boost to them...but I'm trying to get there with a speed boost from below the space pirate platform in the room before, in case anyone wants to tell me I'm wrong....

Your hack is really pissing me off.....6 hours trying to get one f*cking jump....I give up on this game.

Same here, I thought I was supposed to go to Ridley's Hideout....but the door is grey.......haven't tried killing all the enemies in the room yet even though that's not going to open the door. Something's missing.....have everything but Plasma Beam. Got the Maridia secret item.... I'm at a loss for now.
