| "Actually, she's possessing me right now," Ud said with his regular, childish voice. "And you'd be surprised..." he added, his voice taking the serious and feminine tone again.
Tapping the sword on the side of his leg, he giggled a bit. "Well, while we do travel a lot through dimensions, we haven't heard of Hunters yet... then again, we think of people called Hunters as some mean guys who want to kill us, so that's tied. But ah... Jinn, if you would please?" he asked, and the Wind Spirit created winds that blew underneath him, helping him hover off the ground. "Now, if you'll excuse us... TAKE THIS!" he screamed, before trying to slash at Exdius, the sword doing nothing unless touching him... at which point, he'd feel a drain in his magical energies, if any... and since this was a physical attack, magical shields that only worked with magic wouldn't help him. |

| "HA HA!" yelled Exdius, as Ud fell right in his trap.
In a flash of light, time stopped as Exdius brought his hands together, blocking the attack with his claws... and then... in another flash of light, time resumed at such a speed that there was truly no way Ud would avoid the incoming slash from his right arm. Not only did Exdius take no damage but Ud is about to take in the face double the maximum damage he would have inflicted on Exdius should he have connected with his attack. The eruption is coming to an end... and the lava is soon getting close enough for the two to feel the heat... |

| Ud screamed, painfully, as he was sent backwards, his arm pained and wincing... and he looked back at him. "What... what was that?" he asked, wondering if he'd have to use an alternate strategy... it seemed his mind was slowly melding with the Goddess, while the fusion continued.
Still, he wasn't one to stop easily... "Well, then... let's see what you got now," he taunted, entering a defensive position. |

| Exdius said nothing. He simply activated his thrusters, sending himself foward... and avoiding Ud, not seeking to hurt him, as he went on at an incredible speed while his visor glowed anew, his aim "locked" on Ud.
Why did he seemingly run away?... well, Ud must be seeing the lava nearly at this feet, the heat strong enough to begin melting him. By now, the volcano stopped shooting molten rocks completely ; the lava and the gas were the remaining hazards. |

| Ud shrugged, as he saw his foe run away, and began to hover higher. "Hm... seems like we need to leave this part.. oh well. AIR BLAST!" he chanted, before his eyes and sword glowed a bright blue... and he slashed at the air, blasting the gas towards the higher skies. "Now where is he..." | |||

| As Exdius got away from the lava (and from Ud), Exdius turned around suddenly, shooting a small sphere of magic toward Ud. The sphere was flying extremely fast but wasn't homing...
It was unknown what effects it would cause upon impact due to the sphere's rather... chaotic... nature. The magic energy within was extremely raw and rather strange. It was rather different compared to the magic usually used by mortals and immortals alike. |

| Ud finally saw his foe, and began rushing at him again, making sure to avoid the sphere. It wasn't too easy, but he managed to go around it in time... and was close enough to slash at Exdius again. "Well, then... let's try this again!" he said, before attempting another slash at Ud. | |||

| At this moment, the sphere exploded with great strenght, creating a massive magical field that extended to full size instantly, Exdius standing just outside.
As Ud got close enough... SLAAAAM!!! His chances of dodging the magical wall that appeared out of nowhere were of one against several billions. Not only would it stop him cold in his tracks but it would also deal significant damage for the magical wall had "bone breaking" properties, increasing the strenght of the impact by four. "This is too easy! You're more predictable than Tuesday's soup dinner!" laughed the mechanical being, tranforming his right arm into a massive multi-barelled rocket launcher, getting ready for when the force field will shut down. Hopefully, the impact will have stunned Ud long enough for Exdius to add on to the damage with a few rockets... |

| Ud fell onto the ground headfirst again, this time having to dig himself out of it. "Ow... that hurt. I don't feel my legs. Wait, that's my head. Sorry," he apologized, as he looked at the wall. "Okay... if I try to attack him head-on, I get hurt, and if I try to use minor magic, no deal... well, how about some other magic?" he asked, concentrating more. In a few moments, he had it ready... as soon as the barrier fell down, as he noticed it would, he rammed the sword onto the ground, as wind rose up. "AVALANCHE!" he cast, the rocks in front of him rising... all the way where Exdius was... even under him! The missiles would be blocked by those, no doubt...
Also, the rocks didn't just rise up... no, they all flew directly at Exdius, once they reached a certain height! Ud pulled out his sword in time, entering his defensive stance again. |

| Seeing Ud prepare the spell, he had to change his plans quickly. Turning to the rocks, he aimed at them and fired a missile...
BAM! An explosion caused one rock to explode and nearby rocks to be deflected... but the problem was that there was huge number of them flying toward him! Not panicking, aiming carefully and slowly walking away from Ud, Exdius soon aimed at clusters of rocks, firing missiles quickly at them in an attempt to keep them from overwhelming his assault and slam into him... but the rocks were coming faster than he could eliminate them and he speeded up, knowing he had to dodge... As the rocks came close, Exdius fired his final missile and activated his thrusters, getting out of the way as a pile of rocks slammed behind him! "HA! Miss..." SLAM! "DOH!" he thought as a rock slammed into his armor, the shielding taking damage... SLAMSLAMSLAMSLAM!!! "Well... that is not fun." he thought, as he was soon crushed under a pile of rocks. The pile slowly begun to rumble and then, in a flash of light, Exdius sent them all flying off him. "No damage to systems detected. Shielding batteries drained by 10%. All systems green." stated the computer that monitored his body. Not too bad, he thought. It could have been worse, indeed... With all this, it was obvious Exdius did not have the time to mount a counter-attack... |

| Ud grinned. Now was his chance. "Okay, big scary guy... let's see what melts your armor. DOUBLE SPELL!" he chanted, his eyes and blade glowing multicoloredly for a few seconds, the four main elemental spirits flowing into the blade... and then, he slashed the air four times. Elemental cascades of fire, earth, water, and air would strike his foe, this time channeled by the power of the Mana Goddess and the four Elementals in person... which meant that the spell, already damaging enough, was even more stronger than normal.
Once the spell was done, they flowed back into him, safely. |

| Exdius said a "nice" word as the four streams came rushing toward him.
Oh well... if he can't do anything about taking damage... then why not make it worthwhile? Exdius closed his eyes and raised his hand toward as the sky as the four streams hammered against his armor. His armor begun to overheat, the shielding systems taking an ungodly amount of damage... but against all odds, Exdius's shielding systems resisted! As the streams left the mechanical creature, he noticed his shield battery was now at 30%... this was a powerful attack, indeed. His hand glowing, a magical sphere pulsating in it, Exdius grinned. "Well... I take back what I said. Maybe you do have a brain after all... but still, you will not win this fight." Gathering his powers, Exdius charged the sphere of energy even further, locking his aim on Ud, preparing to strike hard... (edited by Zerodius on 09-02-06 08:07 PM) |

| Ud watched the sphere get prepared... and shrugged. "Well, I'm not sure if it's me... maybe it's just luck. It happens," he said simply, his sword glowing blue just like his eyes, as he drew a circle in midair. The circle was filled with some sort of dark energy, spheres being drawn into it... and he grinned, before rearing back. "EVIL GATE!"
Thrusting straight ahead, he forced the circle forward, as it began to grow bigger in size... but it stopped, halfway, before sucking the air in front of him. It was a void of sorts, which would take... but not give. Of course, Ud wasn't going to let this go alone... oh, no... "AIR BLAST!" To add injury, he slashed the air, twice, bending it so that it became some sort of blade, heading straight at Exdius and probably ramming into him. (edited by The Letter H on 09-02-06 08:06 PM) |

| Exdius smiled... and then, thrown the sphere into the Evil Gate. The sphere entered the gate... and did not do anything. Yet, his mechanical face shown a grin and the grin did not disappear.
As it happened, his thrusters were activated and he used them to keep the gate from engulfing him. The gate still moved him a bit... but he was able to remain out of it. As his thrusters kept him away from the gate, he had prepared for the incoming Air Blades. He brought his huge clawed hands together and slashed through the air, causing the magical blades of air to be destroyed, one by one, as they reached him. The impact did drain a bit of energy off him... but it was nowhere near the damage of a direct hit and most of all, did not cause him to flinch. Exdius remained silent, thinking it was best not to give his foe an audio hint of what was to come... |

| Ud didn't seem to have reacted immediately, instead pulling his sword back into a defensive position, even as bright colors enveloped it, reflected on his eyes. However, the glow did not dissipate, unlike the others.
"So... gonna take too long?" he wondered outloud, still waiting. |

| Exdius simply pointed at Ud... and remained still and silent. He did not grin, he did not make a sound...
Yet... something was moving... ... but it was nowhere near. In fact... those energy signatures... it was as if Exdius wasn't moving anything located in this world. Yet... he was definitely manipulating something. |

| Ud frowned, an act that looked rather odd on his face... but, then again, he was being the host of a deity, so maybe it was her who was frowning. "So... no response?" he wondered, before stabbing the ground. The Evil Gate flickered for a second, before disappearing... but, then, the sky above Exdius seemed to rip apart, as a larger Evil Gate was created, but... instead of sucking, it was... releasing?
Well, that certainly must be why those many rocks were falling, after all... and if Exdius didn't attempt to defend himself, even if it broke his concentration, he'd be harmed by them. |

| At this moment, the Evil Gate begun to malfunction... and disappeared completely before releasing anything.
Exdius's grin widened... It was coming... a MASSIVE dimension distortion... Something was going to happen... something BIG!... and most probably, it won't be good for Ud! |

| Ud did NOT like the grin Exdius was having... and it was definitely better for him to defend or something, fast!
Concentrating again, he created a magical barrier around him, and then watched what Exdius would do. |

| Exdius's mechanical eyes glowed... and then, at this moment, he spun in a extravagant way and pointed at Ud as he fired using a tremendous amount of power!
... a little ping pong ball was fired from his hand and bounced harmlessly at Ud's feet. ... and Exdius burst out in laughter at the sight! "Hahahahaa! HAHAHAHAA!!!" |
