| Almost as if by coincidence, Ud... tripped on the ground, falling a bit farther, just as Zerodius would consider firing it... thus, he barely avoided it.
Of course, he couldn't avoid the minor electric spheres, but he merely twitched as he began to get up, slowly afterwards. |

| Zerodius landed, a bit weirded out. Weird coincidence... but still, it didn't matter. The enemy was down and the Mullify's effects were now over... although the overheat effects had not been repaired yet, disabling his magical abilities.
"Fine. Lucky bastard." said Zerodius in a slightly annoyed/angry tone. He swung his Arm Blaster as it switched modes. The cannon returned to its normal state... and then, the canon extended, revealing magma-covered circuitry inside. He had equipped the Plasma Cannon, his strongets non-magical weapon. "Now... let's see how you do when things heat up!" Zerodius pointed the deadly fire-elemental weapon at Ud. BAM! BAM! BAM! He fired three extremely fast beams of overheated plasma toward Ud. Each beam had incredible piercing power and would inflict high amounts of damage on top of setting the target on fire. The fact that the beams had been fired quickly and that each beam travelled at a speed very close to the speed of sound did not help... and add in the low range issue and it became clear that at least one of Zerodius's beams has to hit. Still, Zerodius was prepared for the worst... but well, as long as Ud doesn't do anything crazy, his systems will have recovered in time for him to kick his Magic Core back online and get a decent defensive strategy into play. |

| Ud was blinking, as he saw the plasma blasts coming up... and smirked, as his eyes glowed a light green for a second, just like his sword.
"TRANS SHAPE!" he screamed, as Dryad seemed to appear for a second... and then, his body glew a bit crystal-ish for a few moments, as the plasma blasts struck him... and then, they were flowing through him! He laughed, as a second voice seemed to be giggling as well. "Now... time for me to pay it back..." As she said it, his eyes and blade glowed that light yellow again. "LUNATIC!" he screamed, as he described a circle, Luna seeming to appear through it... and the moon that was over them seemed to focus its light on Zerodius, before making a sphere around him. It slowly began to have some sort of darkness cover it... like in an eclipse... and as it moved on, Zerodius could feel his energies being sapped slowly, until it covered the sphere fully. Then, the sphere dissolved into nothingness. (OoC: As you know, Lunatic reduces the maximum HP of the opponent... and it is also an unavoidable spell in this case, as it is cast by the Mana Goddess. | Fortunately, since Zerodius was protected by shielding, he knew the move wouldn't affect him nearly as much as other targets...
Still, he knew that such an attack wasn't to be ignored... Then, at this moment, Zerodius felt it... "Magic Core back online. Shielding back online." At this moment, Zerodius knew it was time to up the antes. "Now... I guess I went a bit easy on you so far... but now, time to pull off some real moves!" he stated, activating the Magic Core using his powers and pointing at Ud. "Now... witness my REAL power!" he yelled, his voice echoing for some reason. "Now, I shall create a new spell just for you! You should feel honoured!" MAGIC REGULATOR! Zerodius's armor glowed in a blinding white light as the very laws of physics begun to change... although they were not completely changed yet. It will take two more turns until the magic spell has taken full effect. |

| Ud blinked again, as he saw how Zerodius taunted him. "You call that 'going easy'? Guess I should watch for when you get serious..." he replied, grinning insanely again.
The fact that he said he had 'created' a new spell was odd... but he didn't really feel like tasting it yet. The white light was likely some sort of indicator, maybe of a Light-aligned spell... so maybe a Dark-aligned would work? The blade began to glow black, as his eyes did, before he lowered it. "BLACK CURSE!" he screamed, delivering a crescent-shaped slash at Zerodius... just as Shade came forth, blinking in the darkness. Once the slash struck him, several black triangles surrounded him before a black forcefield - so black, not even his advanced sensors were capable of seeing through it - enveloped him, before he felt his body wrapped by tendrils... of such a kind that even his increased resistance was incapable of completely blocking the effects; his abilities were being sapped, slowly, but enough to make a decent impact... (OoC: Black Curse reduces all abilities by about 10%.) |

| Although Zerodius's systems told him that his energy reserves had been sapped, he remained there, the light shining.
The light's power seemed to stablize...the effects of that new spell are beginning to take effect and an opressive, ominous aura of sorts seems to crush both opponents on the battlefield for some reason... as if something big was going to happen. |

| Ud smirked, raising the sword to the skies now, beginning to hover slightly. "Now, to see how strong you are... an ultimate should be good enough, I believe. So... come down, destruction from the heavens! The ultimate power, supreme ravage... ANCIENT!" he cast, the eight spirits sending energies into the blade, before it flew upwards, to the skies...
And then, several thousand meteors began to fly down, crashing onto Zerodius at such high speeds, even if he had tried to avoid, he wouldn't be able to evade most of them. The damage would be MASSIVE, maybe even defeating him - but who knew? The blade returned to Ud's hand once the spell was over, and he watched, waiting... |

| If Zerodius had an eyebrow, he'd raise one. That is an attack that would level cities and bring down massive foes. No way his current form can resist such an attack.
As the first meteor smashed into him, his shielding systems went critical... and then, the second knocked them offline. The third meteor caused most of his armor to cave in, knocking most of his Avatar's systems offline. The fourth one crushed the mechanical body completely. Zerodius had lost his body long before the final, massive meteor landed. "Hmm... can someone say Overkill? Seeing from your power level... I guess I should stop going easy on you and create a new, more worthy body for you to fight!" stated a voice that echoed with overwhelming power, out of nowhere... | "Well, it wouldn't be if that weren't a weak shrimpman. But shrimpmans are too weak, so... it's his fault," was Ud's mere reasoning as he panted, exhausted for the moment. He knew his energies would return soon, but that spell... well, he probably wouldn't be able to use it again any soon.
Still, he could probably use some minor heavy stuff, still, before the need to recovery came. "So... what's next?" |

| The voice seemed amused. "The biggest, baddest mechanical demon you will ever see."
At this moment, the Heavens glew as the Admiral of the Hunters, the supreme ruler of all Dimensions, gathered his power and concentrated his imagination into the planet's crust. A massive crack appeared on the ground and the ground split open, magma errupting skyhigh and being hardened instantly. Liquid precious, incredibly rare metal hardened instantly and begun to assemble a mysterious creature of ancient steel before Ud... ... and then, as the earth closed, a massive armored being, six times the size of the human, stood before him. It was similar to the last armor but it was much, much taller and more reptile-like... it also had reptile and demon features, the body structure altered and massive claws now visible. It also seemed like this body had even more advanced systems than the last one... "You can call me Exdius. I am the advanced battle form of Zerodius. It will be a pleasure to rip you into little pieces. I look foward to our duel!" stated Zerodius, in his new body. |

Then, he tapped the sword against the back of his neck, not cutting himself in the process. "So, if you're a 'biggest, baddest mechanical demon'," he said out loud, "then that means you are just some mechanical thing or a demon too?" |

| The entity smiled, revealing that this armor, unlike the last one, actually had a mouth with very sharp teeth made of an unknown metal. "I am neither a mechanical entity or a demon... I am something... else."
The creature made an absolutely incredible backward jump, landing a dozen of meters backward without anything effort. "Now... shall we?" at this moment, the creature unsheated its claws... and at this moment, the hands transformed into massive Blaster Gatling Guns. Looks like Exdius is a "little" bit above Zerodius in terms of power... |

| Ud frowned, when he heard the response... and those teeth were annoying, decidedly. "Okay... whatever you say, shrimpthing," was his response, even as he made a cut with the sword, opening a time-continuum vortex and picking out a light green scale from it. "Now, I guess, I should run, right?" he said, in a voice that didn't quite sound like himself, before rubbing it into his feet. The effect quickly acted on his body, and he felt his energies grow rapidly...
He then stared back at Exdius. "So, what are you going to do next?" he asked, putting his sword in a defensive position. |

| "Have an intelligence update." answered Exdius.
At this moment, Exdius's visor turned a greenie color and he fired an invisibly fast wave-like beam toward Ud! A scanning beam that would reveal to Exdius Ud's current strengths, weaknesses, stronger impact points (where Exdius needs to hit to REALLY hurt Ud), and lesser impact points (places he shouldn't aim at if he seeks to do big damage). It also allow Exdius to "Lock on" Ud and tell him if he got any spell being casted or tech being charged. If it was the case, the beam will tell him exactely what Ud is preparing, what it does, and where he's aiming. If the beam misses, Exdius learns nothing. (edited by Zerodius on 08-16-06 08:59 PM) |

| Ud barely yelped, before jumping out of the way and quite a few meters away... it seemed that scale had enhanced his speed. "Hey, watch it! Your beams hurt lots!" he said, before shrugging. "Although that's to be expected... oh well, I wonder." He then moved his sword downwards, drawing some particularly odd runes on the ground, and drew a circle around them. "Now it's my turn, I guess... so, then, FIREBALL!" he called, the sword and his eyes glowing red for a moment, while the runes flared up. Then, he drew another circle in the air, forming a few fiery spheres that flew towards Exdius, obviously meant to explode upon contact. | |||

| Exdius grunted, annoyed that his beam had been avoided so easily.
As the fireballs flew toward him, Exdius activated his body's shielding systems and at this moment, the fireballs collided with a strange wall of energy and were sent flying in random directions, away from Exdius! Fortunately, none were reflected directly back toward Ud. Exdius grinned evily. "Heh! Is that all you got? I'm disappointed, really... especially after that meteor shower strike you pulled off, earlier! Now... allow me to show you a REAL fire-based attack!" Exdius dropped the shield and then, after making a ridiculous-looking ninja pose that seemed even more ridiculous than it already was since he was a massive mechanical demon of sorts, Exdius slammed his fist into the ground with all of his strenght, channelling an enormous amount of energy in the ground and reshaping the flow of magma underneath! The ground slowly begun to rumble and then, suddenly... BRRRRR... BROOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! There was a massively loud sound as the ground shaked and then, litterally exploded underneath Ud as Exdius formed a volcano under him! A huge stream of lava was flung sky-high, from underneath Ud, sending massive chunks of half-molten rock everywhere as well as emitting a huge amount of deadly gas! Thankfully for him, Exdius was protected from all of this thanks to his shielding systems and since he wasn't a breathing, living creature, the gas didn't affect him. NOTE: The volcano Exdius created isn't a magical one ; it's a real, physical one that will remain until somehow unmade and which will have an extended eruption beyond the initial strike. |

| "Well, that spell is not really meant to be used all the time... even if a Magus back in my Goddess' dimension really loved using it..." he explained, tapping his sword onto the ground.
Then, when Exdius did that ridiculous dance, Ud laughed histerically. "YAY! ENCORE! ENCORE!! ENCORE!!!" he asked, although he stopped once he heard the noise of the ground shaking. "Wait... what the-AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He never finished the sentence, as lots of lava flew to the sky, forcing Ud upwards and skywards... very far! Far enough that, when he landed headfirst, he was on the bottom of the volcano's side! "Ow... that hurt. Ouchies. I think I ate some fire..." he moaned, as he got up. His skin had some burns and his hair was covered with dirt, but other than that, he was fine. "And that barrier thingy isn't really coincidental... oh well, let's try something new, then," he reckoned, before concentrating his energies on the blade, his eyes and it glowing green for a second. "LEAF SABER!" The blade retained its glow, once it was over, but it was partially dull. Then, Ud began to run towards Exdius, trying to make his way without getting hit again. |

| As the eruption went on and on, massive molten rocks slamming about, Exdius pointed at the sky, using his powers to stop the flying rocks near him, gathering them together and merging them into a massive sphere of half-molten rock or semi-solid lava, varying on how you looked at it. Considering its size, which was huge, and its weight, which could be counted in tons, it would probably hurt to receive it in the face.
Then, as the human ran back toward him, Exdius let go of the now humongous and extremely heavy lump of magma, hopefully having gravity crash it against the head of his opponent. "Maybe a mage from your world liked to use that fireball strike... but copying others' moves is unstylish and often, inneffective! Make your own attacks!" he stated, as he let gravity bring the sphere down on Ud's head... probably. The eruption rage on, the rocks bouncing about, Exdius's shield still protecting him. Yet... a curtain of red and black lava was now flowing from the volcano, toward the two fighters. Exdius, just in case, prepared his thrusters in order to avoid getting his feet singed... and also devised a clever strategy. |

| Ud ran along the volcano's side, moving faster and faster, as he watched the gigantic rock that was being released at him.
Then, shrugging, he stopped and took a defensive position, chanting another spell, the blade becoming blue for a second, as well as his eyes. "This is tiring..." he muttered, before calling the name of the spell. "MEGA SPLASH!" As he made a cut in the air with the sword, a large wave came from where the blade touched, in the 180° slice. It began moving forward, rushing fiercely against the rock, swallowing it for instants before it passed through, not having truly dealt real damage... but that was not what he had aimed for, anyway. "Quick lesson in Physics... extreme heat meets extreme cold equaling extreme cracks," he said, cheekily, as he recovered his breath, before continuing. "Also, first of all, that move was created by me, since I'm the Mana Goddess, and thus, all spells come from me. Second, I was talking about the Ancient spell." Once he had taken another breath, he began to move towards Exdius again, slightly slower, but enough to make a difference. |

| Exdius activated his thrusters, getting out of the way of the shockwave and also of the lava that was progressively flowing from the volcano.
So... his foe was not exactely mortal... "Mana Goddess you say..." he then smirked. "You seem pretty manly for a goddess. That must not strike you points alongside male audiences!" he said, in a mocking tone, before trying to land behind Ud. "As for myself... I am a... superior... force. You, as a goddess, created your world... I am of those who create the deities who create worlds. You could consider me... as a god's god... or as a Hunter, if you're familiar with Interdimensional Travel... which I doubt you are." he stated, landing at the intended location (although Ud probably had time to act). His visor was glowing strangely as he landed... During this time, the lava is getting closer but thankfully, the molten rock rain is slowing down... |
