| OOC: That looks like an auto-hit... questionable.
All the attack struck was another doll-like figure. She suddenly appeared from the left of Alexhaur, armed with a long katana, the Muramasa. Also she looked different. First, she is Marino Shadow Cross. She is wearing ShadowMan-eques armor, the pink all changed to a purple color, the metal armor around teh leegs and arms gone. She's nwo wearing japenese-styled sandles fused to cloth boots, purple bracers over her hands with knuckle guards attached, spiked wristbands around her wrists, and round dome-shaped shoulder guards on her shoulders, with a spike jutting outward. The bodysuit on her legs is gone, which gives her a bikini-look. ShadowMan's red scarf is wrapped around her neck, along with the Muramasa holder strapped behind her. Her helmet remains the same, only a four-pointed shuriken is pinned on the front of the helmet. (edited by Forte.EXE on 05-03-06 04:30 PM) |

| OOC: Sorry. It was meant to be "about to slash". Must have typed without thinking.
IC: Alexhaur's eyes narrowed. A Muramasa...this girl was dangerous. He did another jump, drawing another round of shuriken, landing a meter away from Marino. He formed the tiger-seal and fired a round of ten Housenka (Phoenix fireballs) with shurikens hidden inside them. |

| "Is that all?" she asked. She quickly slashed in mid-air, deflectign several of them back at the source, but some managed to strike home. But, with more damage she slowly recieved, the more powerful the Muramasa gets.
"Death Pierce!" It's not what it sounds like, but as she passes Alexhaur, she'll swing a heavy slash through him (a large wave of purple energy flashes by for added special GFX effects), and land on the ground before quickly leaping back up high, spin aroudn and fire an Ice Comet (five aqua-element ninja stars). Somewhere hidden, is a nasty surprise if he isn't careful... |

| Just as the sword was an inch from his neck, he Kawarimied away, landing a good piece away. He had to get rid of that sword, quick. He drew a round of six Kunai and filled them all with electricity from the Raikyu, then he knot a piece of wire in each of them in the small plast mark he had customized on his Kunai. The wire was long enough to hit Marino and still have an end over at Alexhaur. He then fired them off, the Electricity homing them in towards Marino. | |||

| "Hiraishin!" A large lightning rod materialized in front of Marino, all the attacks being intercepted by the rod. Next came the lightning Alexhaur fired, all being absorbed by it. It flashes before it retaliated with a powerful thunderbolt homing right over Alexhaur. The Lightning Rod then dematerialized as if made of digital data, and vanishes.
She quickly sprinted away, contemplating her next counter-attack. He's gotta go after me soon. He can't keep attacking from a distance... She ripped out her Windmill Shuriken, and spun it under her feet as she starting flying up into the skies. Of course... that present she left for him... was a Snatchel Charge, hidden somewhere up in the trees or hidden in the bushes, and it's not just one... OOC: They look similar to the ones you can use in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas...  Hiraishin is AntiElectricity translated to english terms. Marino has a thing for... big explosions.  |

| Alexhaur quickly jumped away, just in time before the AntiThunder smashed down where he had been and to see Marino fly away on a Shuriken. He would need assistance. He whipped up the Tiger-scroll and summoned two tigers. "Okay, hunt down the enemy. Keep her neutralized, but don't kill her." He smirked. "If it comes to that, I'll want to do it myself." The two tigers nodded and jumped away into the forest. That should keep her occupied. He readied the roll of wire and a handful of shurikens. He smiled and prepared the trap. | She grinned, as she dragged out a small switch device, and pressed teh red button. Five Snatchel Charges all glowed before they exploded. His summoned creatures could be in trouble if they don't make it away from the damaging explosions in time, same for Alexhaur since he was near one as well.
She said nothing as she pulled out some Kunais and thrusted them down from hoving high above the trees in rain formation. |

| Alexhaur grunted as a tree exploded close to him, but he quickly jumped away, making the flying branches cause him no harm Of course. She had to have some sort of explosions. One thing made him smile, however. She was slowly but steadily starting to exhaust her supply of item-needing attacks. Suddenly, a massive roar could be heard as one of the tigers was killed by a tree. It poofed away in a small stream of fog. The other one had gotten out of it unharmed.
Suddenly, a stream of Kunai started to rain, but the noice they were making through the leaves made Alexhaur ready to parry them with the Tachi. He gazed up and saw that some few more Kunai were coming from the same point. He unleashed another flurry of handseals before firing away a group of ten Raikyu, all towards where the Kunai had come from. (edited by Lemurian on 05-04-06 11:24 AM) |

| She grimed as she snatched her Windmill and retracted the blades back into the slots and fell down into the tree tops just as the attacks came flying at where she used to be flying, though gravity she didn't count on as they struck her coming back down.
He had better not ruin my damn hair, she thought to herself, silently dashing across the tree tops in stealth. * * * "Hmm... they are both evenly matched so far. I wonder who can dish it out more," ShadowMan thought, watching the match from a distance... on top of a radio tower in the city, "I know my dear Marino can fare well, but it's that Alexhaur person that's got me intrigued. I wonder what kinds of ninjutsu abiltities he owns..." * * * Gospel soon returned from Sim-Battle City, walking out of teh Control Room, and bumping into Alia. "Hey Gospel, what's up?" "Bored as hell," the biroid wolf replied. "Figures. Have you seen Marino?" the female asked. Gospel shook his head. "No, I haven't. But I passed by Dynamo earlier." "Oh. Okay then Gospel." She entered thr Control Room, and Gospel walked through the hallways of Maverick Hunter HQ, heading towards the backyard garden. |

| The silent swishing of leaves made one of the tigers aware of the presence of Marino and it roared loudly three times. Somewhere else, Alexhaur heared the quite obvious roars. Three times. That meant that the enemy was heard, but not sighted. Okay. He took a quick calculation of the tiger's position and its hearing range. She was close. Good. He readied the trap the place he was standing, ready to activate the moment he dissolved the Raikyo in the ends. Now, the trap was laid. Now, he had to stir up the enemy. He fired another round of Raikyu in a wide fan, sending them homing in at anything in the treetops except himself. | |||

| Phantom Battlechip, she thought to herself. Now another presence was here, more powerful than Marino, but the chakra was on level with ShadowMan's power.
The silent shadowy Arcadian Navi, Phantom, stood silent in the darkness of teh surroundings. Phantom was soo quiet, not even his breathign could be heard. Suddenly, without warning, the doppleganger of the deceased Neo Arcadian Navi sprung out, and will attempt to silence the tiger in cold blood before vanishing once more with one swift strike from his katana... if the attack connected, the tinger will be vertically sliced in half, blood remaing in the body and not splattering out. Phantom was also pitch black cause Marino combined the summoning Navi Battlechip with Shadow3 Battlechip, which will prevent damage to her summoned Navi unless the enemy can figure out the Shadow3 powers' weakness to a certian element... As for Marino herself, she stopped sprinting towards Alexhaur, and jumped through teh treetops down to a nearby branch. The attacks only struck a clone dummy, as she Kawarimi the attacks, but didn't counter-attack. OOC: Phantom is a guy from the MegaMan Zero games...  only in Navi form. |

| OOC: Heh. Just want to inform you; I've played all the Battle Networks and the Zeros. I know most of the weaknesses.
IC: Alexhaur quickly Bunshined, creating a perfect image of himself and made the Bunshin attack the Shadow Phantom. When the Navi readied to attack the Bunshin, Alexhaur appeared behind him and slashed him cleanly through the middle. (OOC: I'm not sure about this with Auto-hits when it comes to summoned persons, so please correct me if this is wrong.) The Navi-data evaporated and Alexhaur perched his ears to find out where Marino was. |

| This summon was alot smarter than it appeared to be. It quickly leapt away at the last milli-second, before ditching the Shadow power. Phantom closed his eyes in response and took the circular device into his hand. He held it in his grasp and four energy blades shot out from the slots.
Phantom’s eyes snapped open as he jumped off the ledge of the branch he leapt up to seconds ago and streaked down towards Alexhaur. He drew back his arm and flung his weapon towards him. But at the last second, it change dtrajectory path, heading toward sthe tiger's head. If this worked, the deadly projectile will slice it cleanly in half, and arcs its way around and returned to Phantom’s hand. As for Marino, during this assault, she leapt out from the shadows of the trees, the Muramasa gripped tightly, ready to strike down on him. |

| Alexhaur jumped up to dodge the Muramasa and...let the Raikyus go. The heavy steel-wire net spread down onto all of the persons inside the net; Phantom, Marino, the tiger...but Alexhaur Kawarimied out and landed a bit away. He took a loose end of the net and fired a Ryuuuka, a flame storm that would follow the wire all the way over the net. "Sayoonara, noble opponent." | |||

| Phantom quickly performed a set of hand-signs. When he finished, a statue of a dragon appeared.
AntiFire It absorbed all of the fire, and retaliated with a powerful fireblast, homing in on Alexhaur. Marino when slashed around, and broke all of the wires. The two landed, before leaping away and vanished in the trees, the shuriken quickly retrieved. * * * ShadowMan watched from his spot on top the radio tower. This was getting more interesting. | Alexhaur quickly summoned another tiger that jumped straight into the fireball, absorbing all damage. The two had ran away again. He Bunshined into five copies again and spread out to encircle them. | |||

| Phantom split into five copies without saying a word, and they quickly sought after the copies of Alexhaur, slashing with their Katana's. The real summoned Navi vanished within the darkness, and is tracking down the tigers that are still alive.
As for Marino, she readied herself incase the real Alexhaur comes at her. Back to the real Phantom, he performed an extremely long and complicated sequence of hand signs in fast speeds. When he was finished, a black hole opened up behind him and Nebula Grey rose out from it. The giant monstrosity roared before transforming into Forte, who after floating high from the purple Nebula Hole built up a giant ball of energy in his hand and launched it down. The resulting explosion will nearly destroy half of the forest area, and possibly harm those in the one mile radius blast. Marino activated Invis Battlechip and vanished, becoming invunerable to the blast, and Phantom flew to the skies riding his Windmill Shuriken. |

| Alexhaur concentrated chakra onto the foot and jumped fast and high away, he landed in a part of the forest that wasn't affected and hid himself under the Meisai Gakure, making himself invisible. | |||

| OOC: I'm guessing our shadow clones have been deleted from the resulting blast?
The forest from a one mile-radius was vaporized, leaving only behind the scarred and ruined ground. Phantom's Kage-clones didn't survive, but he guessed neither did Alexhaur's Shadow Clones. Suddenly, a blinding flash of light erupted out around Alexhaur, and could blind him, which will also pull him out from under the invisibility effect. If that tactic worked, Marino suddenly sprung out from behind Alexhaur, and if he doesn't counter quickly, a powerful slash will be aimed for his back, possibly knocking him down into the ground. Following right after that was a slash from Phantom's Katana weapon. * * * ShadowMan teleported nearby, and was surprised at how powerful the Lord of Chaos Battlechip power was. He only closed his eyes, remembering the power of the chip, how he nearly evaded deletion from it during the Battle Network Finals last year. (edited by Forte.EXE on 05-05-06 09:59 AM) |

| 'Shinobi rule number 47.' Alexhaur repeated in his mind. 'Never be suprised or shocked in combat. That will be your death.' He closed his eyes and managed to keep the chakra stable enough to keep him virtually invisible. Marino wouldn't find him, and neither would Phantom, as the Meisai Gakure made the user completely hidden, even his shadow didn't show, as long as he kept still. |
